“We’ve been coming to Walk-on’s monthly, sometimes weekly, since they opened during the pandemic. This weekend, we decided to try another restaurant that opened recently with a very similarly-themed name. We were so unimpressed, and inadvertently compared our whole experience to Walk-on’s, which we seem to frequently do. Walk-on’s is consistently great. The service, the food, the bar drinks, all great. Everything is decently priced. I feel like the waitstaff is unique. We’ve never had bad service, even in the busiest times (which we try to avoid but in a college town, that’s sometimes unavoidable). There are lots of great options on the menu and the skinny margarita is one of the best in town. Consistently good, clean, great staff and just a really well-rounded restaurant.”

The food is delicious and they are always asking about my day. This is the best spot to eat on campus as it is really healthy and if you have the app the points make the food cheaper.

“This cafe was fantastic! I found it by using google. The line which many have complained about moved right along. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I was alone eating but the staff ensured I had refills and stopped to ask how I liked the food. I got 2 samples of the jelly they advertised as free. I tried both the berries and strawberries. Hands down strawberries won. I got the beignets and fruit (child size) and coffee. It was splendid and just the right size. Try their food when you visit. It’s a must try!”

“Haven’t been there in a few years. Went there this evening. The burgers, fries, and Texas toothpicks were great. The only thing I had a problem with was we went and sat at a table on the upper deck so we could talk because there was no one up there and the lower deck was crowded. Just after we sat down two employees came up and started to drag all the tables and chairs around. Being heavy wooden tables and chairs all they could do was drag them across the floor making a lot of noise. This went in for about fifteen minutes then just as it got quiet again they started doing it in the lower deck. Was impossible to hold a conversation.”

“New Year's Eve at the Reveille Bar was great, with one exception. Neither of the bartenders working that night knew how to mix drinks. It took my date 45 minutes to get through the line. When she got to the front, the bartenders were having to look up recipes on their phones.
I'd suggest that in the future for similar events you limit drink service at the rooftop bar to beer, wine, and shots only, and tell people wanting mixed drinks to go down to the main bar on the first floor. It would work out better for everyone.

“This company goes above and beyond on customer service. I had my son pick up an order for our Christmas Party and they forgot to give him the side orders. The store was closed by the time I got home, sent in a contact form on line and within 2 hours they had the sides delivered at my front door. And they threw in a cheesecake! He is a one man army; bartender, cook, server, busser, owner, etc. He provides the most authentic cuisine, cocktails and teas, of all sushi restaurants in town. He even remembered our wine selection from a previous night, a night where the restaurant was extremely busy, Valentine’s Day. We have been coming for years, and realized we had never given him a shout out before. This is long overdue! We love Sunny’s place, the food, the atmosphere, everything. It is our #1 place in College Station for date night, and we have nothing but amazing things to say about Azure. If you’re on a time crunch, and it’s a busy night, please have some grace and understand that he creates these masterpieces all by hand, by himself, for each and every patron. “Roni’s Mac Bar has been one of my absolute favorite spots in College Station. ❤ I'm so sad to be graduating because this is one of the places I'm going to miss the most. The mac and cheese is always incredible, and it's become such a comfort meal throughout college.
What really makes this place special, though, is the people. The staff is always so kind and welcoming, even when they're slammed during the busiest rushes. They somehow still manage to make every customer feel appreciated, and that says a lot.

But, where they excel is in the treatment of the personnel during ordering and taking out. They are efficient, knowledgeable and eager to make you feel well. Everyone in this store is outstanding, but special mention is desderves for the girl with the blue hair (unfortunately I forgot her name). She is one of the best I have ever had. Similarly and at the same level, Carla is awesome. They both are sparkly, always smiling, remember your name and make you feel like at home. Kudos to the blue haired girl and Carla.”

I fell in love with Korean cuisine after living in South Korea for a year and this is the most authentic tasting Korean restaurant I’ve found in years. So glad I found the hidden gem that is Choi’s Restaurant. You guys will be seeing alot of me. It makes me sad to see negative reviews about wait times when the food is so good. I would just recommend eating here when you have time to spare or suck it up.”

“There's a dining side that gives off a more intimate dining experience. The other side has a bar, high table tops and a few booths. Several screen TVs. Our server was Hannah. Very kind and attentive server. Even though it was closer to closing time and there were only a few of us tables eating, she made her rounds frequently to ensure our time there was well. We started with gator bites, they come with a sauce that reminds me of remoulade sauce. It was great! I got the AYCE catfish (Sunday special) , man that was some good catfish..flavor was on point! Their cocktail and tartar sauce is a house receipe must give it a try! Even the french fries were good and I normally don't like fries. My husband had the crayfish 1/2 & 1/2. Good serving portion, great flavors. Glad we stopped by on our way to Waco. Will definitely be back !”

“We dined after graduation recently. We made a reservation on Open Table. Upon our arrival the table was already set up for us and we were immediately seated. Our waiter was Dario. He wasn’t sure on the bourbon selection but sent over the bartender to personally list them for my husband. We were a party of 5 and my oldest daughter greatly enjoyed her 2 mocktails and the Espresso martinis were my sweet spot. The appetizers were delicious, we had the crab cakes and Venisen sausage. Each plate had specific sides, my non veggie husband was able to substitute his veggie side with no problem. I had the short ribs, he had the filet, 2 others had the vegetarian mushroom and risotto. The other had the chicken. All plates were perfectly cooked and every side complimented eachother deliciously! As for deserts, we had the blackberry cobbler and bread pudding. The flow of the dinner went perfectly, we were not waiting in between courses for long. The decor and lighting were amazing, contemporary with a rustic feel. The lighting was dim which made us feel comfortable in our space. The waiter Dario did not rush us at all. We spent over 2 hours enjoying each others company. The pricing of plates was very reasonable considering the ambiance and service. The restaurant even validated our parking. If you have a chance please visit it definitely created a beautiful memory for our short one night visit in College Station! Not a single complaint from this family.”

“We’ve been coming to Walk-on’s monthly, sometimes weekly, since they opened during the pandemic. This weekend, we decided to try another restaurant that opened recently with a very similarly-themed name. We were so unimpressed, and inadvertently compared our whole experience to Walk-on’s, which we seem to frequently do. Walk-on’s is consistently great. The service, the food, the bar drinks, all great. Everything is decently priced. I feel like the waitstaff is unique. We’ve never had bad service, even in the busiest times (which we try to avoid but in a college town, that’s sometimes unavoidable). There are lots of great options on the menu and the skinny margarita is one of the best in town. Consistently good, clean, great staff and just a really well-rounded restaurant.”

I was alone eating but the staff ensured I had refills and stopped to ask how I liked the food. I got 2 samples of the jelly they advertised as free. I tried both the berries and strawberries. Hands down strawberries won. I got the beignets and fruit (child size) and coffee. It was splendid and just the right size. Try their food when you visit. It’s a must try!”

“I can’t believe this happened to us tonight at OUR favorite place…. Prior to celebrating my daughter’s 17th birthday, I checked your app specifically to join a waitlist, as this is her favorite restaurant. The app clearly showed no waitlist available. To confirm, I also called the Alamo Ranch location and was explicitly told there was no wait. Upon arrival, however, we were informed the wait time was over an hour, directly contradicting both the app and the information provided by staff. We then drove to the Landmark location, again under the impression that there was no wait. After arriving to check in a party of eight, we were told there would be another hour-long wait. This resulted in more than an hour and a half wasted driving between locations, based entirely on inaccurate and misleading information. This experience was unacceptable, unprofessional, and completely avoidable. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years, and I have never encountered this level of incompetence, especially during what was meant to be a meaningful celebration for my daughter. Instead, the evening was ruined due to misinformation and poor communication at both locations. If your app cannot accurately reflect wait times or waitlist availability, it should not be relied upon at all. Either restore the ability to book through Yelp or immediately fix the functionality of your application. The current system is misleading customers and wasting their time. This experience left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. I will be sharing this incident publicly to reflect the unprofessionalism and poor customer service we received unless corrective action is taken. At a minimum, this issue deserves acknowledgment and a clear explanation of how it will be addressed moving forward.”

“I was brought here as a surprise and I was shocked when I went inside. It feels half like a little corner Cafe and half like a game center. I love it. The strawberry shaved ice and pineapple cloudy were both delicious. Paired with an incredible bowl of Ramen the feel was perfect. Their tea is also so good. Each game was fun and the gacha machines at the back were interesting. Filled with different goodies. My only complaints would be that the gachas should have similar items, or at the very least labels that match the items that are actually inside. Other than that it was an incredible experience. I can't wait to go back!”

“I have been going to McAlisters since they opened for their authentic and delicious Reuben sandwich. I had none tonight and was so disappointed. The taste was almost the same but it fell apart in my hand. I immediately knew what had happened. The rye bread was no longer grill toasted, it was done in a toaster, therefore the sauce and sauerkraut soaked through the bread making it soggy and I longer edible except with a fork. The staff admitted the grill had been replaced with a toaster. PLEASE BRING BACK YOUR GRILL. I am so sad, literally sad because I looked forward to eating my favorite sandwich in my favorite place very often. PLEASE BRING BACK YOUR GRILL.”
