Thankfully, she told me that doing the hottest spice level may not be the wisest decision and after explaining what spices were on it, she was saving me from a world of pain. “Our family thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to the College Station location. We have two toddlers so we did not have an opportunity to dine-in (this time), but the staff and patrons were all so kind as we navigated ordering our to-go lunch. Wonderful experience! Food was exceptional. We ordered two scoops and the broccoli salad. I especially loved that we had enough crackers packed to eat with our salad—that attention to detail means the world as a to-go customer!“

“So thankful for this place!! I had a blown tire on Harvey Mitchell and pulled in here as it was the closest thing. I was working on my tire as a worker came out and asked me if I was okay and brought me water. Another worker came out and grabbed an air compressor from their car and helped me fill up my spare(Thank you Josh!!!). Truly saved my day!!!

“Laynes is my go to chicken place here in College Station. Ordering was simple, friendly service, and got my meal quickly after ordering. I’ve never been disappointed with the chicken. It was warm, tender, and crispy. The fries they have are one of my favorite in the area. The Texas toast came out great. Reminds me of some of the comfort food I’ve had. I initially only had the chicken dry, but I gave the sauce a try and I absolutely fell in love with it over the years. Glad to always support Laynes and the food they provide. Highly recommend getting to eat at Laynes for their unique, indoor dining experience, good comfort food, and as an Aggie staple in College Station.“
