10 Best Bar & Grill in College Station

“Haven’t been there in a few years. Went there this evening. The burgers, fries, and Texas toothpicks were great. The only thing I had a problem with was we went and sat at a table on the upper deck so we could talk because there was no one up there and the lower deck was crowded. Just after we sat down two employees came up and started to drag all the tables and chairs around. Being heavy wooden tables and chairs all they could do was drag them across the floor making a lot of noise. This went in for about fifteen minutes then just as it got quiet again they started doing it in the lower deck. Was impossible to hold a conversation.“

“We arrived for dinner around 6:30 PM and since the weather was pleasant enough we sat outside on the patio. Quite comfortable, but a little noisy now and then. Our server was friendly and efficient. I ordered the Atchafalaya, blackened fish filet topped with shrimp creole with sausage, bed of rice with the side of steamed broccoli and beans and rice. My companion ordered grilled catfish which was delicious plus rice and steamed broccoli. We enjoyed both dishes, they were delicious. I checked out the inside seating and it was ample, large! There was a tremendous fish tank stocked with more fish than I’ve ever seen in a single aquarium. Then there was this beautiful sculpted mermaid in the center of the serving area. Very lovely.“

“Our college student granddaughter wanted to go here and I am glad she selected this place as the food was delicious. We had chili dogs, burgers and the Philly cheesesteak. Young crowd here and it was a little noisy for us. Service and food were great.“

“they were PACKED when i went in. great dive feel, but large enough to where i don’t feel like im on top of strangers. Brianna (waitstaff) did a great job of getting my group drinks even though they were packed! love this place, will definitely be back.“

Parking: There is plenty of parking but if it's peak hours, just park across the little side street in the big strip center parking lot and walk over.“

“Spent Valentine's weekend at the Hotel and enjoyed time in the bar several times. Specialty cocktails are amazing and the bar staff are so welcoming! Also used the upstairs room for a catered meal and bar for our son's baseball team parent group. 10/10 recommend this space for 50 or less folks. food and bar were amazing our servers were awesome!“

“I have not been to the brunch here yet but I want to, however I always have a very pleasant time every time I come by - all of the bartenders are very friendly and their service is amazing❤️ I can’t complain on the prices of drinks/food and I most definitely always have a good time whenever I come by this bar!!“

“We ordered excellent IPA’s, split the rib basket with onion strings and still had leftovers. was terrific, and arrived within minutes piping hot. Rita, our server was personable and very friendly. Will definitely be back if we return to Guthrie.“
