“We finally gave this place a shot, and wow! I hadn’t eaten pupusas in a while and totally forgot how good they are. My wife and I each got two, and I would have ordered more if my wallet wasn’t screaming, “No more, please!” I’ll definitely be coming back just for pupusas to go. Those things might be my new food obsession.

The plates we got were okay but nothing amazing. My wife got three loaded chicken tacos, and I had the fried chicken with plantains. The chicken was a bit dry, but the plantains were really good. The waitress was super nice and explained some of the menu since it’s mostly in Spanish. Without her, we would have been totally lost. Also, the menu is huge, so we took a while to decide.

The place itself is small and crowded with tiny tables, but that is exactly the kind of vibe you get at an authentic Salvadoran restaurant. The chef (and owner?) checked on us a couple of times, and you could tell he really cared about us liking the place. That kind of attention is rare.

It’s a bit pricey, especially for lunch. So like I said earlier, your best bet is to get a bunch of pupusas at $3.49 each. Honestly, three or four of those would have been filling enough and cheaper than the big plates.

Bottom line: Pupusas are the real stars here!“

“Sunny provides the most excellent dishes and fantastic presentations in all of College Station. He is a one man army; bartender, cook, server, busser, owner, etc. He provides the most authentic cuisine, cocktails and teas, of all sushi restaurants in town. He even remembered our wine selection from a previous night, a night where the restaurant was extremely busy, Valentine’s Day. We have been coming for years, and realized we had never given him a shout out before. This is long overdue! We love Sunny’s place, the food, the atmosphere, everything. It is our #1 place in College Station for date night, and we have nothing but amazing things to say about Azure. If you’re on a time crunch, and it’s a busy night, please have some grace and understand that he creates these masterpieces all by hand, by himself, for each and every patron. “Came early in the afternoon between 10 and 11. Total was 16 bucks before tip. Though there is a small upcharge for ordering it moist, regular brisket is 2 bucks cheaper. At 16 bucks assuming you order it moist its 3 dollars cheaper than 1775 for the same portion of brisket.

Im not really a barbecue connoisseur, but the brisket was good even compared to 1775 if you ask me. I guess there was less bark, but the brisket was just as tender and moist. You won't be disappointed with the moist brisket here.

“The company culture seems to nurture a sense of customer appreciation. The food has changed a little since my first visit to a Freebirds in 1998, but is still consistently quality. It doesn't have the same flavor that one would associate with a small establishment that still marinates and grills a large flank of beef and then chops it into delightfully smoky flavored steak bits, restocking the meat as needed on the line. However that is unfortunately to be expected as a restaurant scales out and expand into markets father from their original location.“

Sweet and Sour Chicken and Kung Pao with Fried Rice and Fried Wontons!! The price was very reasonable and the amount of food you get it really good! We'll definitely be coming back next time! “I ordered online for pickup, and despite being very busy at 6:30pm, my food was ready ahead of time. One of my fries was missing, but they were nice about it when I called, so it really didn't subtract from the overall visit. I didn't check my food before I left so that's on me.
Everything else was tasty. We ordered baby back ribs and Nashville hot crispers. The portion sizes were worth the price.
This was our first time ordering from this Chili's, but we'll try again next time at a less busy time of the day.“

“We had not been to a Cheddar's in years having had a very disappointing experience the Last time we went. This time proved to be much better and will have us returning again. Food is was solid enough. The ladies really liked their grilled shrimp and pasta. My chicken. Fried chicken was ok, but I will try something else next time. Service was good and atmosphere did not intrude on nor enhance the experience, I am fine with that personally.“

The only thing I had a problem with was we went and sat at a table on the upper deck so we could talk because there was no one up there and the lower deck was crowded. Just after we sat down two employees came up and started to drag all the tables and chairs around. Being heavy wooden tables and chairs all they could do was drag them across the floor making a lot of noise. This went in for about fifteen minutes then just as it got quiet again they started doing it in the lower deck. Was impossible to hold a conversation.“
