“Don’t be fooled by the rundown building. Best BBQ I’ve had in years. Home made potato salad with big chunks of potatoes. One meat dish will fill you up and you get 2 sides for $16. Worth every penny. Place was full of locals if that tells you something!!“

“Wow! We had sliced brisket sandwiches for lunch today (Brenham location) and they were by far the best we’ve ever had anywhere! Don’t know why anyone would put bbq sauce on it! Even the potato salad was excellent! There was a line when we got there but I expect that with any good restaurant. We have tried bbq in all parts of TX and this was by far THE BEST! We’ll be back!“

“This is the place to go for a great home style breakfast at a reasonable price. Seating is a little tight and tables only, no booths. The two things you need to be prepared for is they are not open on weekends and they do not take any form of plastic card for payment. Cash only. I also did not see an ATM available so plan accordingly.“

“This is an absolutely underrated, undiscovered place. The food is AMAZING, the service is just as good and the atmosphere is great for families or couples. They had one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had. I trusted the server to order seabass and my 7 year old and 4 year old ended up loving it so much THEY ate it!“

“Went for brunch today. All they were serving was breakfast which was perfect because that’s exactly what we wanted. We came right as their rush was ending. We overheard a waitress telling a table that their food could take up to an hour to come out but we waited anyways because we thought that even though it was packed there was no way the food would take an hour, which we were right. I would’ve left a higher rating but when our food came out it was cold. Taste was good but would have been much better had it been hot still.“

“My family has been a huge fan of this restaurant for years. In fact, it’s the only place in the area that we would recommend to friends. The service is always friendly, especially Maria, Victor,and Esteban. They treat us like family. The food is always delicious, beautifully presented and very reasonably priced. We love the unending baskets of hot chips and salsa too.

“every time we go to Brian College Station we make it a point to stop here. In fact, we go past Bryan College Station and head to Nathan‘s. You will not find nicer people or a prettier and cleaner restaurant but today the food was off and seven or eight of us thought it was good but just rather bland. I’m sure it was just an off day for them and we will not change our intent to eat here next time. It just may be all pinto beans instead of barbecue. Love theNathans people!“
