“Wow! We had sliced brisket sandwiches for lunch today (Brenham location) and they were by far the best we’ve ever had anywhere! Don’t know why anyone would put bbq sauce on it! Even the potato salad was excellent! There was a line when we got there but I expect that with any good restaurant. We have tried bbq in all parts of TX and this was by far THE BEST! We’ll be back!“

“The food here is amazing!! And the burritos are huge for the money and delicious. Its not fast food, they make it when you order so some things can take 10 to 20 minutes but it's worth the wait for fresh cooked delicious food. I stop by everything I am in Brenham and get extra breakfast burritos to take home. All the girls that work there are very friendly so you will leave full and happy. One of my favorite places to eat. Highly recommend!!!“

“If you're looking for a great local burger spot with a small-town feel, this is it! The prices are great, the service is always friendly, and it's easy to see why it's such a local favorite.
I stopped by on a Monday around 11 a.m., and they were already busy, so I'd recommend getting there early. The burgers are fresh and made to order, and they're definitely worth the wait. The inside seating area is small, but they also have a drive-thru that moves pretty quickly if you're on the go.
Overall, it's a great place for a fresh, affordable burger with welcoming hometown service.“

“Big portions, great taste, wonderful atmosphere. One of the best Brenham has to offer. We had the Ugly Cayote burger and the Chicken Fried Steak. Onion Rings, Sweet Potato Fries and house salad. Everything really good fast and fresh.
Wish we lived closer.“

“This is in my opinion the Best Italian Resturant around Washington county. I’m always greeted well, food and portions are amazing! Highly recommend. If I could have figured how to upload a picture of my food I would have. Absolutely yummy!“

“The food at this restaurant is very good to the point I eat there at least once a week and unlike other restaurants in Brenham I have never had to send food back or gotten ill from eating at Pioneer. I do want to address some of the complaints about the wait staff. He believes in giving all people no matter the age a chance at a job sometimes its that persons first job and like all jobs we just start out at we fail sometimes. So applause to Mark for giving people a start everyone has to start somewhere so give the kids a break!“

“Food was pretty good, I enjoyed the dirty rice and shrimp brochette. The Ahi Tuna nachos were fun and the layers of flavor were tantalizing, though a little spicier than we expected. Service was great - don't know how to spell server's name, but he was wonderful at taking care of our large family.“

“I enjoyed our dinner there! Our serve was wonderful! He did not mind my noisy kids :) Very attentive and when I asked for their spiciest salsa, the gentlemen was wonderful and let me know they had another option. He answered all of my kids questions and made great food suggestions for them since they do not have a children’s menu. At the end of it all, my kids had the soft tacos and I had the enchiladas de crema, which I’d heard of but had never tried! They were delicious! Accompanied by some grilled Chile Serranos and it sealed the deal! I love spicy food :) Again, they did not mind my kiddos which was a HUGE plus for me!“

“I've tried every BBQ place in town and this place is hands down the best. mouth watering slap your mama good. which explains why they sell out so fast. I recommend getting there right when they open because they really do sell out quick.“
