The food at this restaurant is very good to the point I eat there at least once a week and unlike other restaurants in Brenham I have never had to send food back or gotten ill from eating at Pioneer. I do want to address some of the complaints about the wait staff. He believes in giving all people no matter the age a chance at a job sometimes its that persons first job and like all jobs we just start out at we fail sometimes. This is true home cooked food! Absolutely fantastic! Service on point ..plus. And the prices are great!!!
Really cool place, I chose the 2 meat plate, sausage and brisket, I was given the moist part of the brisket, I typically prefer the leaner cut but it was still very good. That's why the 4 star. Sausage was also very tasty. I will go back, will make a request for the leaner cut of the brisket.
