The food at this restaurant is very good to the point I eat there at least once a week and unlike other restaurants in Brenham I have never had to send food back or gotten ill from eating at Pioneer. I do want to address some of the complaints about the wait staff. He believes in giving all people no matter the age a chance at a job sometimes its that persons first job and like all jobs we just start out at we fail sometimes. Visited for the first time yesterday and liked how rustic the restaurant looked. There were tons of cool things to buy there ranging from shirts, to mugs, to texas shaped wall bottle openers and more. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly; regularly making sure we were taken care of. Very good first impression. Will come back when in the area
Ok Ladies and Gents, we are going to tell you like we eat it. This place is quiet and unassuming, until you walk through the door. As you know i dont typically like spots where you go up to them and order. However, with the inside being small, 3 tables and all kinds of neat little nic knacks, its actually entertaining to do so.
