“The food at this restaurant is very good to the point I eat there at least once a week and unlike other restaurants in Brenham I have never had to send food back or gotten ill from eating at Pioneer. I do want to address some of the complaints about the wait staff. He believes in giving all people no matter the age a chance at a job sometimes its that persons first job and like all jobs we just start out at we fail sometimes. So applause to Mark for giving people a start everyone has to start somewhere so give the kids a break!“

“I ordered two potatoes, and when I got there, they were out. They said I was able to wait for the next batch, but I was hungry, so I got the loaded cornbread for me and one for the wife with a side of brisket beans. Sheeesh, I’m coming back for more. They were great. The food, the workers, the customer service!!!“
