When we leave from down the road in college Station to visit my son who is a student we usually eat there or bring back a plate for him and his roommate. The first time that delicious cornbread hit my mouth. Oh my oh my that soft delicious cornbread. The only thing missing is to have a crispy crunchy top with a big pad of butter on it. Heavenly! the green beans are delicious. The mashed potatoes need to be thickened a bit, but they’re pretty good all in all.
Staff was nice, but the food was okay. Was expecting better. I ordered a 2 meat plate, but was mostly 1 meat and a slab of fat. The Mac and cheese wasn’t that great, but the green beans were good.

every time we go to Brian College Station we make it a point to stop here. In fact, we go past Bryan College Station and head to Nathan‘s. You will not find nicer people or a prettier and cleaner restaurant but today the food was off and seven or eight of us thought it was good but just rather bland. I’m sure it was just an off day for them and we will not change our intent to eat here next time. It just may be all pinto beans instead of barbecue. Love theNathans people!
