It had been a while since we came here, and honestly, we were so impressed. The food is so much better than before — everything was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. You can truly tell they’re putting effort and care into every detail.
The restaurant also looks much cleaner, prettier, and overall more welcoming. Today, May 10th, it was beautifully decorated for Mother’s Day, which made the experience feel even more special 💐
But the sweetest part of the night was the young manager, who was incredibly kind and gave all the moms a rose and a hand cream. Such a thoughtful and beautiful gesture that really made everyone feel appreciated.
It’s so nice to see a place improve this much and create such a warm atmosphere. Definitely recommend coming here! 🌟“

“We had brunch today with friends. We had delicious food and great service. Our group ordered the club sandwich, pizza, the Gyro, and the chicken biscuit. Everything was delicious and to top it off our server Nikki was fabulous!“

The food 100/10, I had the oxtail (rabo encendido) and it was simply the best oxtail I had in Texas. Atmosphere is nice and clean. Service is amazing, the waitress was very sweet and served me pretty fast as well. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“I don't know where to start, our waitress could not get our order right. She couldn't understand English to take our order. Food was cold , over cooked eggs, tortillas were raw. And last all the waitresses were huddled up just starring at us it was a very weird experience.“

“DELICIOUS! Everything! We had fried oysters-Yum! Friend catfish-Yum! Stuffed crab- Oh my goodness, YUMMY! Even the tarter sauce was amazing! How is that possible? We spoke with the owner to learn the history, and he was as nice as he could be! We will DEFINITELY go back!!!“

“Good experience overall at The Ranchito. The food is good, not the best in the area, but definitely fair for the price. Service is good and the food comes out pretty fast, which is a big plus. A solid spot if you’re looking for something affordable and quick without high expectations.“

“I stopped by IHOP to pick up a breakfast order, only to realize that I had accidentally placed it at a different IHOP location instead of the one near Fry Road and Highway 290 where I went for pickup.
Thankfully, James, the gentleman who greeted me, was incredibly understanding and helpful. He immediately explained that my order had been placed at another location, but without hesitation he told me he would be happy to prepare my order right there. In less than 10 minutes, my breakfast was hot, fresh, and ready to go.
It's becoming harder to find places that consistently offer both great food and genuinely exceptional customer service. James turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a wonderful one with his kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help.
Thank you, IHOP, for hiring amazing people like James. Employees like him truly make a difference, and I'll definitely be coming back!“
