“We visited today to celebrate my daughter’s 13th birthday, and it couldn’t have been a more wonderful experience! Our cashier noticed her birthday badge and immediately wished her a happy birthday while giving us excellent customer service and great recommendations. After we were seated, our server surprised her with a special birthday treat, she was so overwhelmed with emotion, and it was truly the sweetest gesture. Thank you so much for making this such a special and memorable day for us!“

“My partner and I have been eating at this location for the last six years and always have a delightful experience. The dining room is always clean, the wait time is never too long, and I never feel like we are rushed. Definitely the most reasonably priced lunch menu around! There’s not a lot of places that you can get a salad, pizza and a drink for $10 Be sure to go on Wednesdays to get half priced wine and beer!“

“Made a last minute reservation for our 10 year anniversary on a Saturday night. We felt we were treated as royalty. Rose petals on the table and a quaint card. Outstanding service from Sam. His recommendations and menu knowledge were uncanny. Multiple managers stopped by, and it was nice to see the managers engaging with all the patrons equally. Lovely experience!“

“My family and I came here the other night to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and we had such a wonderful experience! I had the barramundi, he had the ribeye steak, and we shared the croquettes for an appetizer. Everything was absolutely delicious, as always, which made choosing his birthday dinner an easy decision!
The ambiance is always great, as well as the service. Mikayla and Juan took great care of us and even made sure to bring us extra chips! We love this place and will hopefully be back again soon! ❤“

“Went for brunch yesterday with friends and the customer service was top notch!!! Genuinely kind staff who went above and beyond for us. My youngest has FA and they greeted us upon entry and let me know how to discuss the allergens with the staff. We got the counter to order and I kept it simple with just bacon and fruit for my ANA kid to make it easier on everyone but the staff member made sure to let the kitchen know about cross contamination. When we looked at desserts the staff was highly knowledgeable about what desserts had allergens and which had cross. Their knowledge of ingredients and honesty over a sale was phenomenal. On top of that, there was a young gentlemen (whose name I can’t remember) but he ensured our food was perfect and that we enjoyed our meal. Just kind people all around. It was such a nice and relaxing time out that we usually don’t get with FA. Thank you so much for this. Will be back.“

“We go every Thursday for lunch and we like the soup and salad. Today after waiting almost 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order we finally had someone. We ordered the soup and salad and we were told they did not have any salad. So we left disappointed. How does a Italian restaurant run out of salad?“

“I definitely recommend but have some reservations. My family moved to grogans mill and I was excited to have a bar/pub so close to home (literally walking distance from my house) with delicious food, good drinks, sports on every tv, bar games to play, and good service… but is it a bar or not? My husband and I came in at 9 pm on a Thursday to watch hockey with another couple and there were children under 13 playing on the video games. Cool maybe they’re finishing up and will go home soon, it’s summer after all and family friendly during the day. 10 oclock rolls around and still kids in the bar. 1030 rolls around and I said screw it, it’s bar hours, in a bar, late at night. We put music on the jukebox ordered more drinks and started playing pool, I played a lizzo song, and my friend played cardi b, again at 1030 PM on a Thursday. The music might suck to some folks but too bad I paid for it so I’ll listen to it. Someone (dad I presume, probably works there or is a regular enough to have access to the jukebox) turned off the juke box because there were kids in the place, and the music was explicit. why are there kids in a bar at 1030 at night?!! I get it’s family friendly during the day and I’ve even brought my kids here to eat and play. I know kids are allowed to exist in public spaces, no problem with that. I’m a pediatric nurse and a mom of 3, so at some point on my nights off where I got a whole babysitter, at 1030 PM I want to be able to go to my neighborhood sports bar to watch hockey and drink, and I don’t want to be around kids, having to tailor the music I listen to and my behaviors because of the kids that should be at home in bed. They need to establish a time where it’s an adult bar vs a family restaurant and enforce it. I feel like if I go in after 9 I should be able to play darts, take shots, and listen to lizzo if I want to and not be pushed out because someone wants to have their kids out at a bar. But I digress, their steak nights are a great special, the service is great, the beer is cold, the games are fun, and the food is delicious. I will be back many times, despite the fact that there might be kids in the bar late at night.“

“Dear management, I just left your fine establishment and wanted to give high praise to a hard working employee that is working today at your restaurant and bar. His name is Christian and what a delightful young man! I was not assigned to his area, however he was very attentive, initiated assistance, and seemed to be everywhere help was needed. He also gave me a great recommendation for smoking a fine cigar! He is such a humble helper! “First time visiting Goose Acre. Very clean restaurant, high energy atmosphere. Its located right on the river walk and in the heart of the town center, very bustling area. There was live music so it was pretty happening. While the atmosphere was great, the food options were much more robust than I expected at an Irish bistro and man was it delicious. Highly recommend it for a casual get together or a weekend date night.“

“Kirby’s steakhouse HH in the bar is the best! The service from Alison and others which in the past has also included Justin and always includes greetings from the kitchen…Clarence and staff are the absolute best at getting the best flavors out of the featured items! The dirty martinis with mixed plain and blue cheese olives is my “go-to” yet my SIL had a sweet cranberry one that wow if you like a martini with a splash of cranberry then go for it. We were celebrating my 45th bday and Kirby’s didn’t disappoint! We started with the stuffed shrimp (bar menu) and mostly eaten in the pic because I forgot to take a pic b4hand with this amazing b something sauce (kinda lemony wine cream) yum! Then fried pickles with yet another yummy sauce. And of course the tender grilled lamb chops (HH menu) (yup you got it another amazing sauce), baked herb Boursin cheese (HH menu-fresh roasted garlic cloves - only order on a 2nd date or up or you may turn your date away with your breath haha) delicious! Soy sauced sliced beef (bar menu) I think with a chimachuri sauce that’s great; meat so tender and buttery! Steakhouse sliders (bar menu but had ordered the French dip sliders but didn’t disappoint) very flavorful and fries cooked perfectly as well as raw oysters where I mixed the cocktail with the pesto EVOO or whatever with extra horseradish that again was Amazing! And fresh bread with plenty of butter to soak up any of the sauces mentioned above just because they were all so good! Ending with the bourbon pecan pie with a great flavored ice cream that we all shared a bite (or 2!). The lighting at first was dark yet naturally lit since the sun was still up at 5 but by the time we left around 6:30pm it was darker, it could have been lighter but I guess if we had kept our candlesa d not “shoo’d them away it would have been lighter) but we ordered so much food for our party of 6 we needed the table room. However still a 5 star experience!“

“I realize wanting to know drink prices in an upscale restaurant is not a concern of most customers. However I would have liked that option. Had I known that a house chardenay was the same price as a martini I would chosen different beverage!! Menu did not give drink prices. Nor did waiter know martini price when asked!! Please consider providing a drink menu with prices. Thank you.“

“If you grew up in The Woodlands like I did (1983 - present), you definitely know Chef Chan's is the best Chinese food around. When we have family come visit from other states, they always request we "order Chinese food from that one place" while they're in town. The Grogan's Mill Shopping Center used to be its home back in the day, but long story short, it's now at the Indian Springs Shopping Center where Lake Woodlands and Woodlands Pkwy intersect. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL "OG" CHEF CHAN'S!!! Give them all your money, and tell them that Anthony says, "Hi!" “Delicious Sushi, wide variety, plenty to choose from. The experience starts with a robot bringing the drink order. The food either comes from a conveyor belt down below, or order from the tablet or the conveyor on above. The sushi always tastes fresh. Theres also Ramen bowls, and other hot itmes to order as well.“

“Stopped in for a Vienna Beef chili dog, however I decided to go with the Ultimate Egg burger, it happens 😂. Burger was cooked perfect and Mgr Jeannie brought me over a sampling of homemade chips with sauces. Their onion rings and fries are top notched. Everything done in house. They bring your food and clear the table. Recommend a visit. All the employees were really nice and friendly.“
