“My family and I came here the other night to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and we had such a wonderful experience! I had the barramundi, he had the ribeye steak, and we shared the croquettes for an appetizer. Everything was absolutely delicious, as always, which made choosing his birthday dinner an easy decision!

The ambiance is always great, as well as the service. Mikayla and Juan took great care of us and even made sure to bring us extra chips! We love this place and will hopefully be back again soon! ❤“

“Went for brunch yesterday with friends and the customer service was top notch!!! Genuinely kind staff who went above and beyond for us. My youngest has FA and they greeted us upon entry and let me know how to discuss the allergens with the staff. We got the counter to order and I kept it simple with just bacon and fruit for my ANA kid to make it easier on everyone but the staff member made sure to let the kitchen know about cross contamination. When we looked at desserts the staff was highly knowledgeable about what desserts had allergens and which had cross. Their knowledge of ingredients and honesty over a sale was phenomenal. On top of that, there was a young gentlemen (whose name I can’t remember) but he ensured our food was perfect and that we enjoyed our meal. Just kind people all around. It was such a nice and relaxing time out that we usually don’t get with FA. Thank you so much for this. Will be back.“

“First time visiting Goose Acre. Very clean restaurant, high energy atmosphere. Its located right on the river walk and in the heart of the town center, very bustling area. There was live music so it was pretty happening. While the atmosphere was great, the food options were much more robust than I expected at an Irish bistro and man was it delicious. Highly recommend it for a casual get together or a weekend date night.“

Burger was cooked perfect and Mgr Jeannie brought me over a sampling of homemade chips with sauces. Their onion rings and fries are top notched. Everything done in house. After I got a delicious pie, hand crafted by Jhonatan Murillo and his coworker Patricio Mares, my friends locked me out of my car by leaving the keys inside the car. After closing up shop, Jhonatan and Patricio stayed for 3 hours trying to help me open the car door and they succeeded. Words can’t describe how grateful I am to have wonderful people around the woodlands. They were exhausted after closing, and still found time in their busy schedule to stay and help a customer. Moreover, our encounter with the manager, Kristie, soured the experience further. Despite making a reservation, navigating the nuances of hibachi dining on OpenTable proved challenging, leading to an unpleasant interaction with Kristie upon arrival. Her demeanor lacked hospitality, and her approach to handling reservations felt unwelcoming and unnecessary. Despite these setbacks, the allure of high-quality sushi draws us back, albeit to the alternative location to bypass any potential encounters with Kristie. Sakekawa may have its flaws, but for sushi aficionados seeking top-notch fish, it remains a contender in The Woodlands’ sushi scene.“
