“The food was eh...ate at the flat top our chefs attitude was awesome! Best thing of the night. We had spring rolls, chicken and fried rice. Chicken was dry not a lot of flavor. Food was mediocre and for the price shouldn't have been. Probably won't be back and gave it 4 stars merely for the experience.“
“Overall really good.There was a note on the door stating that the restaurant is short staffed. The guy working there was doing everything- sushi, tables, drinks, and more. He’s a hard worker and produced a great product. The food was amazing. I just didn’t expect to be in the restaurant for an hour and a half due to being short staffed. “40 tempura is my go to sushi place in Cstat. I look for any occasion to come back. The food is such good quality - my favorites are the vegetable tempura, butterfly kiss, and Pandora roll (but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu). The owners are amazing people and I can’t recommend this place enough!“

“From the first time my wife and I stopped in here for some sushi on a date night about a year ago, we knew we had found our new favorite place! We have slowly worked our way across the menu and have come to find that IT'S ALL DELICIOUS! At this point we go in and ask for chefs choice of sushi and a traditional Chinese dish. “This was my second time visiting this restaurant, as I visited last year while speaking at Texas A&M. Just as they did last time, they did not disappoint!!I ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi meal and OH MY GOODNESS!!! The steak was juicy and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The veggies perfectly complimented the meal and the rice was delicious!!One thing that I will make mention of is the fact that the food is prepared to order and if you're in a hurry, I would recommend calling your order in before you get there, as we waited for at least 25 minutes for our order.We weren't in a hurry, so we were OK with it. But it was definitely worth the wait! We originally ordered our food to go but ended to up eating almost all of it in the restaurant.They are very well priced, especially for the quality of the food that they cook. My meal was 14.99 for both steak and shrimp; and I've definitely paid more at other hibachi restaurants.Looks like I've got a favorite new spot and a new tradition because I will be visiting every time I speak there.“

“We eat out a lot (which may not be budget friendly or healthy, but we love to try different foods and restaurants!) College Station in general is not known for good food. Normally, the food there is subpar. Sushimasa has blown up this realty. It is one of my top restaurants to go to. Food is fresh. The seafood soup has actual medium-sized scallops!! The unique salmon skin salad is delicious (if u r into cucumbers)! For those that don’t eat raw fish, they also have teriyaki beef and chicken. These are very small portions, so order a few orders together initially to start. We had a party of 6 and were seated in a nice booth. Atmosphere is very tranquil and pretty. For a reasonable price ($33/person), we ordered all-u-can-eat. It comes with an alcoholic drink or refillable soda, 2 pages of items to order from, and delicious desserts. For dessert, we ordered the the fried cheese cake, green matcha / strawberry ice creams, and fried bananas. Highly recommended.“
