“Fresh, clean, flavorful meats, rice and beans. Awesome condiments, salsas, pico, etc. Tortillas are also great, price is good. The only criticisms are that the pint of beans was a lot more "juice" than beans, and the rice portion was small for the price.“
“Listen, I know how leery people can be with food trucks/trailers but listen here… these breakfast tacos come straight from the taco gods themselves. I’m from the Gulf Coast originally where breakfast tacos are abundant and these breakfast tacos are by far in my top 3 of all breakfast tacos I’ve ever had in my life. The tortillas are perfection.“
“So underrated!!! Amazing prices for amazing tacos. We went here and they had amazing customer service. They were nice and funny and welcoming. The restaurant is decorated really cute. The restaurant is nice and clean. Music and tvs are available. Jenga is available for outside sitting. We got our food in three minutes. Delicious and warm and fresh. The food was AMAZING! Free topping add ons. Super fast with serving us. Always friendly to everyone walking in. Thank you for the amazing service. Eat here!!Kid-friendliness: They were nice to my daughter and really everyone. Just thought I’d include this because it’s not wrong. Not just adults they’re kind to. Not just kids. Both“
“The place was very clean, the staff was very attentive and friendly, we were a very large group and they served us quickly, everyone at the same time, excellent service. The sauces were very delicious, especially the green one, I loved it, tortilla chips, drinks, seasoning of 10!“
“Wow, a great hidden gem. Our party of 9 all left extremely impressed with the food. Everything was delicious. Service was fast, and the owner very kind. This is a must try! We will be back.Vegetarian options: They have plantains, salads, beans and rice.Dietary restrictions: They have food that is diabetic friendly“
“I have been eyeing this truck down the road from my mother's house for months now and she finally asked if we could stop by for a "snack." Lord, she didn't know what was coming for her. We were greeted with an energized "hola" from a wonderful Hispanic woman. I was comfortable speaking Spanish back to her while most of the taquerias in Austin that I've been to make the exchange awkward by speaking only to me in broken English. I ordered three tacos de pastor. They were wonderful. My mother got a quesadilla de asada. WOW, that thing was delicious -- ask for the salad inside. The cheese was everything and the portion of meat was also great. Now the real kicker is that damn good salsa. They have a salsa verde and a habanero salsa. They are both incredible! I cannot wait to continue to support this business.“
“So wonderful to eat at Torchy's!!PLEASE open Torchy's in northeastTennessee- Johnson CityMissing Y'all very much!Enjoyed my favs: the Wrangler and the Fried Avocado!! Also, ordered guacamole to share at table. (Unfortunately, didn't have room to order my Mr. Orange this visit.?)“
“Great food for a great price. My go to order is nachos with chips on the side. Very filling and very satisfying ?? staff is always very helpful and kind. Love this restaurant ?Vegetarian options: They have a great selection for vegetarians from meats that are vegan friendly to whatever vegetables you desire.“
“I was driving around town looking for food and uninterested in any options I'd fine. I checked Yelp and saw pictures of the quesabirria tacos from this food truck. I was instantly salivating so I headed over. They were posted in Northgate and thankfully it was completely empty so parking and ordering were a breeze. The service was good, and the food arrived quickly. The order came with 3 quesabirria tacos, with limes, salsa, and Consomé (the meat juice). They were so delicious! Perfect size, good portions, and nicely crisp tacos with tender meat. I would certainly come back just for those. My only issue with them is how expensive the plate cost. It was about $4.50 each taco AT a food truck. Felt just blasphemous. Maybe that's to cover costs of choosing an ambiance like Northgate- if so, I hope they pic another location and reconsider these highly priced plates.“
“Outstanding service! After a long and busy day, the kids voted on Freebirds because they love the food. The two gentlemen making the food patiently guided all the kids through the options (have you ever tried to get a kid to navigate options???), and even kindly helped our daughter who was already “done” with the day. Then the sweet young lady who rung us up lovingly encouraged our daughter, letting her know that tomorrow would be better. She checked on us, encouraging our daughter again. We all enjoyed our food, but more so appreciated (and needed) the kind humanity that met us there. At Freebirds!“
“Ever eat those breakfast tacos and the tortilla gets hard or chewy before you finish? NOT HERE!! **I will walk 500 miles just to**.... get one from Yole's vs the taco shop across the street. GREAT FOOD. FRESH HOMEMADE TORTILLAS. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. But hurry in cause I think they close at 2pm everyday and closed on Mondays!“
“Ordered 25 fajita plates and received tamales for some hospital staff I have the pleasure of supporting. The food was OUTSTANDING!!!! I called with only a 3 hour heads up and they were ready to go right on time. Will definitely be ordering from them again. Also heard their breakfast tacos were the bomb so plan to try them next time.“
“Delicious! They were quick and reasonably priced. They are now located in the food Court in Post Oak Mall, which is where I got my tacos. I got the chicken fajita, pastor and barbacoa. The wife got the spicy burrito with chicken. It was amazing!“
“The food is good and I liked visiting this place but the last time I was there the waitress made me feel uncomfortable, the place was practically empty and I hadn't even finished my meal when she came with the check without even asking. For this reason I would not return since I felt pressured to leave the place without having enjoyed my meal to my satisfaction.“
“Well well College Station… you’ve been keeping quite the little secret haven’t you!?!? Every inch of the walls and windows are covered with client photos. The food is phenomenal! The margaritas are fantastic! The service excellent - muchas gracias Rogelio! We’ll be back❤️“
“Tried the lunch special on a Tuesday. It was an enormous chicken fajita plate, rice, beans, salad, corn tortilla, chips and two types of salsa. Tremendous value for $12.Authentic Mexican taste.Complimentary chips and salsa come with tomato salsa and guacamole sauce. Very tasty. Strongly recommend coming here.Parking: About 16 spots shared with the business next door.Wheelchair accessibility: Low access door. No ramp needed to comfortably access restaurant. Handicap parking available.“
“Delicious food. Expensive given you can get 10 tacos back in San Antonio for the price of, like, 3 of their's but that's College Station for you. It's worth it though because we keep going back ? those complaining about the salt are confusing because I hate salty food and the food here is not salty. Maybe they're confusing actual flavor for the bland food Mexican restaurants serve around here that the gringo college students like, idk.“
“I was pleasantly surprised! The food was good and the salsa was delicious. I am not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but I would definitely eat here again next time we are in TX. The server was slammed, but he made sure we were taken care of.“
“Needed a snack and the Mrs pointed out their taco truck... so we stopped. The chicken flautas and elote were really good. The carne adada taco was kind of sad with no onions or cilantro. We were $16 plus a couple bucks for a tip. A little unassuming, but solid food at a fair price.. Recommend and would eat there again.“
“Best street tacos in Brazos Valley & close surrounding areas!! I know my street tacos so trust when I say "best"! Only gave 4☆ instead of 5.. only because out of my week to every other week visit even sometimes more than once a week.. my order last week was prepared incorrectly twice (upon calling, then returning to the restaurant they did prepare my tacos correctly the 3rd time).. but twice in 1 day they were made wrong & only reason for 4☆. I always get 2 - 4 street tacos, on corn, chicken Fajita with Cilantro, add white cheese, & sour cream. Sour cream on the tacos or on the side depending how I feel.. but always NO Onions! No onions only because I can no longer eat onions ?.“
“My daughter n love and I went for dinner to celebrate what would have been my son and her 25 th anniversary but he is in heaven now and we loved our time spent with memories of their sweet love .Parking: There weren't too many up close spots but it was fine“
“Freebirds never disappoints. Their food is always fresh and delicious, their staff is very friendly and seem like they enjoy working there, and the prices aren’t bad for the amount and quality of food you get. I totally recommend Freebirds for a good lunch or dinner spot!“
“The best fajitas I've ever had! Tender and delicious, steak in my case. My compatriots had similar praise for their food. Easy to get to, lots of parking. A bit strange to hear 80s and 90s pop music instead of Mexican polka music, but certainly not odd enough to make me rate them anything but perfect! Thank you for a great experience and I'll definitely be back!“
