10 Best Bar & Grill in Waco

“1 - Excellent food…fried pickles appetizer gone in 60 seconds; burgers were awesome; tater tots add beyond yummy…and stay crispy enough for next day breakfast ( because they give you a portion that you WILL have another meal) 2 - Speedy, friendly customer service…very attentive staff….we tipped well over the standard 20% because it was so good! 3 - beautiful, lively atmosphere…air coolers for outdoor eating, which we chose despite the heat/humidity Most importantly, I was an out of tower and this was my last meal with local family before flying out the next morning. Dumb a** me left my wallet at the restaurant and didn’t realize until getting ready to leave for the airport at 0830. We stopped by the restaurant to see if it was still in the outdoor eating area…nope. Luckily, ran into the contractor doing some work…he called the owner, the owner confirmed it was in the office safe. After hearing I needed to make the AM flight to DFW for connection to home, he dispatched an employee to go in on a planned closed day to get my wallet. This kindness allowed me to make my flight…what he didn’t know is this act of kindness was critical because I had a new job in-person interview scheduled for the next day. Forever grateful. THAT is customer service. Thank you so much! Tells a lot about the culture and dedication to customers. Keep up the awesome work…I will be back. Promise to keep better accountability of my wallet!“

“I had a problem at your hotel in Rehoboth Beach Delaware a complaint to management but they did not care about my problem and would not help me I called corporate and got a case number and they told me to call back I called back could not get through and nobody never called me back from corporate I will never stay at another Hilton or recommend your Motel to anybody it totally sucks and customer service sucks does not care about people's problems but you did not have no problem taking my $800 I give you people zero Stars stay away from this Motel chain I do not recommend this place at all to anybody“

“Oakley’s is one of my favorite spots in Waco. Great food, cold drinks, and a vibe that’s perfect after a long day. The wings and hog balls are a must-try. Staff is always friendly and the dance floor is a nice bonus. Whether it’s brunch, late night, or just drinks with friends — Oakley’s never disappoints. Highly recommend!“

“We’ve hosted Waco Babes Book Club at Cricket’s multiple times over the years, and it has become one of our go-to spots for a reason! Finding a place that can comfortably handle a large group of 50+ women, month after month, is no easy task, and Cricket’s has continued to welcome us.

The staff has always been kind and accommodating to our lively group, the food is consistently great, and the space works so well for our book club nights. We especially appreciate having a reliable place we know we can count on for larger gatherings.
