“Out of all the times I’ve been there I’ve only had 1 kind of negative experience. My last order I purchased 4 cookies. 3/4 of the cookies were perfect! They were crispy but warm and gooey on the inside! The other cookie though was SO COLD. It was the first time anything like that has happened, so overall it’s a nice place with most of the time great cookies“
“On March 30th I found la Gabriella online when I was searching for bakeries in Bryan/CS. I was hunting for pastries to take to a family lupper (lunch/supper), and the list of different forms and flavors at la Gabriella was outstanding! I called to ask if they would hold some aside until I could get there, and sweet Anna Maria said, "Sure we can!" It was 12:15, and they had almost sold everything they had baked that morning....yikes! I'm so happy they could hold a few: butterscotch pecan scones, an apple & cream pastry, a chocolate expresso muffin, and a cream Mayan bread. OH. MY. GOODNESS.... Each pastry was a class act and so delicious...I cut up each one, and everyone, five of us, got to sample whatever looked good to us. There was so much food, and because we all overate...as usual...I got to take home the better part of the pastries....HOORAY! Now I can't wait to visit my new favorite coffeeshop and sample even more pastries and try some of their coffees. AGGIELAND, YOU HAVE TO TRY LA GABRIELLA COFFEESHOP AND PASTRIES!! “Went in to grab a bite before an 11 am Aggie football game. Cream cheese kolache was delicious and you ! The Pecan Bar was good but needs more pecan filling. Frosting was very sweet. Also shared a sausage and cheese kolache and I didn't care for the sausage-too garlicky for me to eat for breakfast. I would definitely go back for the cream cheese kolaches!“
“Probably one of the best bakers in town :)I had a custom heart cake made for my SO's birthday and the cake was amazing to say the least. The cake tasted just as good as it looked (vanilla with chocolate ganache).Completely underrated, super streamlined process. 10/10“
“Don't like their sheet cakes or the whipped icing. The buttercream is VERY VERY sweet! Like "HELL-O DIABETES" sweet. However, the other random deserts, which can get a bit pricey and too sweet as well, are generally fantabulous!“
“Better than HEB, yeah HEB is cool but was a nightmare in my opinion (Walmart of grocery). Brookshire Bros store was very pleasant to shop in, didn't feel like I was lost while looking for what I needed, friendly staff, great selection, clean and organized and it's way less busy than Kroger or HEB. If I lived in college station, I would regularly make the extra drive to this place“
