If you love good coffee, then you have to make a stop here when you are in BCS. Generally bought bags of whole beans from them--which are always fantastic--but they also make great lattes and other drinks at their cafe. They are good enough that I still order online from them once in awhile.
One thing about my family, is we love to come back and visit Aggieland, but especially, visit family owned businesses. Polite coffee is located in the historic Kyle house which is absolutely stunning. The pastries are all homemade. The kolache had a full Slovacek’s sausage and was delicious. My husband downed the Polite tart in a matter of minutes and it was stuffed full of filling. Polite Coffee is my favorite coffee shop in the BCS area- everything I’ve tried here is good, and the historic home is a beautiful place to study or catch up with friends. My favorites are their homemade pop tarts and the iced breakfast in bed latte, but I frequently branch out and try new things. Their flavored coffees are creative (often cocktail-inspired which I think is fun) and not overly sweet. Highly recommend!
