“Polite Coffee is my favorite coffee shop in the BCS area- everything I’ve tried here is good, and the historic home is a beautiful place to study or catch up with friends. My favorites are their homemade pop tarts and the iced breakfast in bed latte, but I frequently branch out and try new things. Their flavored coffees are creative (often cocktail-inspired which I think is fun) and not overly sweet. Highly recommend!“
“I started to love craft of coffee, and Tavo Coffee is the jackpot. The pour-over coffee here is not only a rarity in Bryan/College Station but also tastes amazing. Also, the cappuccino here is by far the best tasting in the area. It's my favorite spot for working because it has such a cool vibe. “I almost hate to write this review as I've been on a quest to locate the best coffee in Bryan College Station for the past 9 months and this is it. I've been to Dutch Bros, Polite, Starbucks (overpriced burnt beans anyone?), Gogh Gogh and others. Hands down the absolute best either black or, my favorite, The Candlelight. Gogh Gogh had me for awhile with their Starry Night but lately was leaving unknown crunchies at the bottom of the cup. I recommend Candlelight in a to go cup as I talk a bunch and it keeps it toasty. I enjoy the Sammy with side salad. Never thought I'd eat salad at breakfast but the combination works well AND it's healthy. I've heard the blueberry avocado toast is amazing but I don't do avocado at any time so I can't verify. Service is the absolute best! The staff are patient and just awesome people in general. Atmosphere is perfect. Pretty days you can sit outside in downtown Bryan. Every day you can sit inside in this old European style decor. It's typically quiet enough to study, lots of outlets available. Not sure on the wifi as I graduated a long time ago, so no studies for me. Great place to go for conversation, read a book, meet friends, etc. Go ahead and get the rewards app as you will be back and your points earn you discounts.Parking: Welcome to downtown Bryan! Some street parking is unlimited time and some is time restricted to like 90 minutes I think. I've never had an issue with parking in the mornings.“

“I ordered a Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino and they didn’t have enough caramel candies to go into the drink, the barista searched for thirty minutes for the candies that way I had a complete drink. Bless her heart, she was amazing. I love this place.“
“I used the mobile order service and ordered ahead. I accidentally placed my order for pickup inside the restaurant instead of drive through. I am disabled and have chronic pain and desperately didn't want to have to walk in. I explained to the lady over the speaker that I had made an error and she very warmly told me that it was okay, and she'd have my drink at the window. I hadn't even mentioned that I was disabled, she just chose to lead with kindness. My drink was absolutely perfect, the staff was kind and friendly, and everything was handed off quickly and efficiently. I don't normally leave a review every time I go grab a coffee, but this lady made my day. I highly recommend the Iced Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Latte- they make it perfectly.“
“Donuts are delicious. Had a bad experience today though because the girl who rang up my items rang them all up and then started grabbing things afterwards without looking at what was rang up, she seemed very disinterested. We left but found out when we got home she forgot items I paid for so I was pretty bummed. I wish she would've been more careful when bagging our stuff.“
“Very nice. I stopped by to study for a bit and it was really comfortable. The pastries in the middle were alright, a bit too doughy than I expected. Might have been better if they were warm. I've had their sweet potato fries and they were really good. I kindly ask if they could play more chill music, lots of pop music makes it hard to enjoy the coziness.“
