“I finally visited Kanji Sushi last night. We had business partners in from Denmark and I told them to consider it for dinner as they were staying near by. Well they agreed and asked us to join them and made me order everything because somehow I was knowledgeable even though I had never been…suffice to say, I don’t believe we could have ordered anything bad. “My husband and I have really enjoyed our many visits to this restaurant. Our frequent waiter, Casper, is really knowledgable about each dish and always gave us great service! He also helped me to know which dishes were gluten free or not. It is quite easy to eat here gluten free ( or not!). It tastes fresh and very delicious every time.“

“We had the absolute best experience here! We came in late from a day of shopping in Houston for my daughter’s birthday & were scrambling to find a place open that would be fun with good food. We got there about an hour to close and the host who ended up being our server was immediately welcoming and kind. We didn’t feel rushed and also had the place to ourselves which was nice and funny. They both kept us laughing, accommodated & exceeded our expectations in every area and made it extremely memorable for my daughter. They even brought out a decorated dish with mochi and a candle and sang happy birthday. I wish I caught their names to recognize their outstanding service!“

“Sunny provides the most excellent dishes and fantastic presentations in all of College Station. He is a one man army; bartender, cook, server, busser, owner, etc. He provides the most authentic cuisine, cocktails and teas, of all sushi restaurants in town. He even remembered our wine selection from a previous night, a night where the restaurant was extremely busy, Valentine’s Day. We have been coming for years, and realized we had never given him a shout out before. This is long overdue! We love Sunny’s place, the food, the atmosphere, everything. It is our #1 place in College Station for date night, and we have nothing but amazing things to say about Azure. If you’re on a time crunch, and it’s a busy night, please have some grace and understand that he creates these masterpieces all by hand, by himself, for each and every patron. “It was 108, I was working outside and wanted something light and fresh. Went inside saw the sushi chef and asked him what his favorite sushi roll was. Startled he said one thing but when he understood I was going to order it, he changed it. SHAGGY DOG SUSHI ROLL! I wasn't happy he changed it, but ok. The roll WAS good, I ate each element seperate and then together and it was perfect. But...I have also eaten the same quality and pricing at sushi spots that aren't two hours away from me.“
