I finally visited Kanji Sushi last night. We had business partners in from Denmark and I told them to consider it for dinner as they were staying near by. Well they agreed and asked us to join them and made me order everything because somehow I was knowledgeable even though I had never been…suffice to say, I don’t believe we could have ordered anything bad. Everything was phenomenal and they were VERY impressed. I will be back.

I think the fish is incredibly fresh, the sushi rolls are amazing, and I have found the service team to be very attentive. I highly recommend Kanji Sushi.

Based on the reviews, Kanji Sushi is a true high-end sushi spot in the Bryan/College Station area. The seafood is impeccably fresh and bursting with flavor. The restaurant is an excellent place for an upscale Japanese dinner. The service is great, with friendly and attentive staff who make helpful recommendations. The food is outstanding and perfectly prepared. The Citrus Tuna & Avocado salad is fresh and bright, and Chef Tai’s Spicy Tuna Roll has the right kick. The nigiri is beautifully prepared, and the madai is not to be missed. The diver scallops and seared steak carpaccio are fantastic. The green tea crème brûlée is out-of-this-world delicious. The drink list is creative with several nice sake bottles. The ambience strikes the perfect balance of warmth and elegance. The pricing is fair and the food presentation is excellent. You absolutely need to plan ahead and secure a reservation, as it books up quickly.
