The whole experience was great. Bought a brisket there, a large one and came how and prepared it and really enjoyed it. They have a blackberry cobbler that really good. That's a rare thing. The bread pudding and great as well. Great place. Love it.
After our first visit, Readfield's became our go-to market for fresh beef, boudin, sausages and cold cuts. The staff are always pleasant, friendly and helpful. They make the best boudin I have ever tasted. Their rotisserie chicken is juicy and delicious. When we are in town for multiple errands, we always stop at Readfield's to take home a chicken for a quick and easy meal when we get back home.
