As someone whose dad is a true pit master, I’m extremely picky about BBQ. I usually don’t eat anyone else’s because I’ve been spoiled with the real thing. But I have to give credit where it’s due—this Black-owned BBQ spot absolutely exceeded my expectations.

I got the brisket plate with potato salad and baked beans and an additional side of mac and cheese, cornbread and slice of chocolate cake. the brisket was so nice and tender and flavorful, the potato salad was tart with a slight bit of sweetness and amazing texture, baked beans were the best I've ever had, the Mac and cheese had an amazing velvet smooth cheese sauce, a little too much pepper for me but that's just cuz I don't like the flavor much of pepper. No shade to the other establishments lol but this is officially my favorite spot. My comfort food if you will. 10 stars hands down and the customer service is just as amazing as the food.
