I have consumed bbq all around Texas & beyond. Most is tasty & filling. But, one bbq establishment beats them all—hands down! That is C&J BBQ in Aggieland! From the beef to the beans C&J is it! After you’ve tasted all the rest, you will come & eat the best!!! Gig’em Ags! Horns Down! Beef Up!!??

We ordered a catered meal for 50 on September 14th. The price was so much cheaper than any place we had called so, I was afraid we would regret choosing C&J. But, when picking the food up, the staff were totally on the ball. Everything went so smooth. The food was extremely good and we received numerous comments. Thanks for making our event absolutely no hassle!!

I enjoyed my meal but am thinking the original out Hwy 30 is a bit better. Do like the jalapeño cheddar sausage. The odd part of the experience as I was leaving there must have been 15 feral cats behind the building next door…
Parking: Was not hard to get in & out.
Wheelchair accessibility: Should be no worries if you are in a chair.

I don't see how this place, supposedly, keeps winning "awards", it is terrible! I've had better frozen "BBQ" from the grocery store. Straight trash and every year it just gets worse.

Meaty ribs and good portions. Mac & cheese and fried okra we're just okay, wouldn't order thise sides again. The ribs, as it should be, were the star of the show, I'll definitely go back for those.
The price has gotten unreasonable 4 burnt ends that are half fat as they should be, 4 inches of jalapeno and cheese sausage and a small green bean. $17.62.no drink no dessert

Bar b q is subjective. C&J had very well cooked meats, but they didn't have much flavor for me. Their sauce was great, but I prefer meat with the flavor cooked in. The jalapeño cheese sausage was excellent, and sides were good, just not the bar b q I like. Definitely worth trying, you may love it. It was a great price for bar b q.
