Having been in the service industry for nearly two decades, this is one of the best bars I have visited. No excuses, and no lids for to go cups. Menu is short and delicious. Hand cut fries generously salted. Buffalo Patty Melt is everything you want and expect in a patty melt: juicy, messy with the buffalo sauce, and while it looks like a lot, goes away fast because it tastes so freaking good! Pool tables, shuffleboard, huge patio and outdoor space and plenty of televisions for sports! Late afternoon Christmas party of about 20+ happening next to us on our visit, and our service never suffered or lagged. Plenty of parking in back, and extra across the street! Lot was nearly empty when we arrived, and about 1/2 full when we left, yet never realized how many people were inside. Carney's is unapologetically a great bar and they are worth a visit!

The new expansion addition into the building next door is awesome. They’ve created a top notch outdoor area with ample TVs and a big screen that is ideal for game watching. This adds to the already fun old school Irish bar vibe that Carneys is known for. Good selection of craft beer and national brand liquors and surely everyone will be able to find a drink they enjoy. The food is 6/10 for me but suffices when I get hungry while drinking there.
Carney's has become my neighborhood bar. Wednesday trivia and karaoke are seldom missed. DJDC, half of the karaoke team, spins great music Thursdays and Fridays...

Used to be a great dive. Now it doesn't know what it wants to be. Too big, the workers are over-worked and can't handle the capacity. Kitchen is too small to handle the increased customers. There is no good system in place for orders/waiters. They need to figure out whether they want to be a pub and grill or just a 'bar.' My last time there, I asked to speak to a manager; instead, I was verbally and physically accosted by a waiter.
