Our waitress was fantastic. The food was grease soaked. Chicken fried steak was not drained well enough and I could have used the meat as a frisbee it was so hard. The okra was soft/spongy and the macaroni and cheese was hard.

If you want good, down to earth, and savory dishes, Cotton Patch Cafe has you covered. Their whole menu is filled with items that are just like some of grew up eating. The staff is incredibly helpful, even on the busiest nights. We feel pretty relaxed while there. The energy is laid back and there isn't a rush to get through their meal and out the door. Between the burgers, salads, chicken and dumplings, soups, and whatever else you may want, you'll be pleased.

We happened upon this place because I was feeling lazy and didn't want to cook or to fix up and boy am I glad we did! Things seemed freshly made in house, not out of a box, but was still extremely fast. Food was good and good sized portions. A good value without having tons of leftovers. Our server was a young guy who was a bit awkward but you could tell he was really trying.
Had a great server, she was very attentive and quick, my Fiance and I both had Meatloaf, the food was hot and came out quickly. Food had nice flavor. We will definitely be back again.

A great place for some good southern food. I had the pecan crusted flounder, and it was awesome. The staff there is very friendly and makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Last night was our 1st experience with Cotton Patch Cafe and we were pleasantly surprised. The table we were seated at was a little sticky, but our server fixed that quickly.We started with their 'shrooms app, which was quite good. I got the Monday chicken fried steak dinner. Pretty happy with our dinner and will return to try other offerings/specials.
Service was friendly and fast. Food is always good and reasonably priced.

Had the $10 special with chicken fried chicken breast, garlic mashed potatoes, and squash casarole. Pretty small chicken portion (what do you expect for $10?). The mashed potatoes were pretty good. But the squash casarole was uncharacteristically not good. The squash skin was tough, the seeds were very large and overall not up to Cotton Patch standards.

Tried chicken fried bacon for the first time in my life, and I can guarantee you it will be the last. The waiter was amazing! He was very kind, very fast, and very helpful.Dietary restrictions: They have an excellent allergy menu, and very well described precautions. Most of their fried food are egg-free, which is very hard to find. They also have an extensive egg-free menu, which is fantastic for those of us who have horrible allergies.
