I recently moved in right around the corner and me & my fiancé decided to walk over for a late night snack. My fiancé ordered The Classic burger w/ onion rings + a drink, I got a plain Cheeseburger (with lettuce) and fries plus an Oreo milkshake. The food was yummy and super filling, me and my boyfriend both enjoyed it. The guy who was working was really friendly and our food was super fast. I loved the giant bean bag chair inside and I also really liked the way they have a water dispenser w/ cups on the counter so that it’s easy to get water without having to ask. I think more places should do that. We also liked that they’re open late, (we’re night owls.) The employee did inform me that they have a really good 50% off wings sale every Monday, so I know Im going to have to come back soon! Thank you ❣︎

Fatshack in Bryan is a waste of money. Menu has gone downhill since taking away options to customize. Used to be able to make a classic chicken sandwich without all the crud on it but that’s gone. Half price wing mondays are gone, upgrade your fry to a large for a $1, gone. Not open until 4pm now!? General staff are always a pleasure but management has run the place down. Cutting options and operation hours is NOT the way to keep customer retention. I’ve been a loyal customer for many years but will not returning.

To pick an order and showed him a phone and he decided to curse me out saying I would have at least said hi ( sir it’s not my job, what if I am dumb or don’t speak English) I asked him politely what the problem is and he explained and said if I don’t want I should get out. Fat shack, normally I absolutely love this place. Tonight was the worst experience me and my family have had. We walked into to tables covered in nast. (Crumbs, ketchup, etc.) Then we make the mistake of ordering first set was 10 wings, 5 bbq/ 5 buffalo, the person behind the counter had no idea how to do this. A sandwich with ranch. (Got it.) Second sandwich no fries, add fried pickle. Food came, chicken was good. Last sandwich had fries on it, and a side charge for pickles. Plus me and my daughter were sticking to the floor of the restaurant. Beyond aggravated and disappointed.

Fat Shack is the TRUTH! I’m not sure what it was like before Josh took ownership last week, but if there was an option for more stars ⭐️ they would be getting them. The food is great, but the staff is what made my trip and the reason for this review. Between Ashley, Cheyenne, Austin and the new Bossman (Josh) the experience is unique, but in the best of ways. A friendly welcome and great attitudes. It’s such a chill vibe that I think the food tastes better just from the atmosphere the staff creates here! Which is hard to believe, bc the food is already cloud-nine. The owners take on the milkshakes makes perfect sense: “They are simple but if you get too carried away with adding to something like a milk shake; in my opinion, you are stealing from the timelessness of the immortal American staple.” -Josh (Embellished Paraphrasing done on my part…🤷🏻♂️) New place to get late night grub is the Fat Shack New bc of the new Chief. Come and check out what He is doing with the place!
