My son took me here yesterday for my first (not last) time. I got the chicken enchiladas with their yummy gravy sauce. It was so delicious. Rice and refried beans also delicious. I've never liked charros but my son got me to try his and they are so good! They also have coca cola from Mexico with real cane sugar. Much better than ours. I always go check out the bathrooms for cleanliness when I go out to eat - nice & clean there. Very pleased with this place.
Incredibly fast service, giant portions, delicious food! This place is definitely a hidden gem. The interior is small and has great acoustics, so when the place is full, you can hear overlapping conversations, which feels lively and communal. It has a front and back room. We sat in the back, which has a moulding going across the room which is hand-painted with dainty little flowers. It was very cute. This is like the hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant you're always looking for that has the really good classic Tex-Mex and Mexican food you crave. Except this place is also clean and presentable, with great service. Hard to beat!
