Took a very long time to get the snow cones. They were somewhat melted, and they didn't even pack them up high. There is no place to sit and wait. They tasted good they just were almost melted. One customer came there and had to ask them to put more ice in it because it was too liquidy. Was disappointed in this visit.

Itās delicious, but be prepared to wait in a long line in the heat and then only have picnic tables outside to sit at. The bees will also try to find you! It might be better to just take it with you. They have lots of options of both just snow cones, but also with ice cream.
Parking: The parking is off to the left when you are looking at it from the road.

Excellent snowcones! We stop by multiple times a week during the summer months. Leashed dogs are allowed, which is a huge plus because it provides owners with a convenient place to get new or maintenance socialization. Weāve even been offered a pup cup before. ā¤ļø
The atmosphere is amazing. Locals and visitors alike engage in casual conversation; you almost always walk away with a little more pep in your step. No judgement here; weāve encountered patrons in swimsuits, church clothes, work uniforms, pajamas, and everything in between. Itās a welcoming environment. The only time in many years that there has been an altercation, the staff intervened and the owner emailed me within hours to apologize.
The porch is kept cool with a large fan. Iāve never felt overly uncomfortable while in line or waiting for a snowcone, but itās still Texas heat. Ample parking.
4/5 stars: Itās very apparent when their water filter needs to be changed. The snowcone will taste like tap water, but itās always been corrected before our next visit.
The customer service is hit or miss. Iāve been overcharged more than a few times and now consciously check the price during each visit.
Dietary restrictions: Sugar free options available, but make sure you specify. Iāve requested sugar-free before when I wasnāt able to process sugar and it must have been overlooked.
Kid-friendliness: Perfect place to take the kids! 100% recommend

First words out of the staff memberās mouth were āIām sorryā because for about 30 seconds she and her buddy were just standing there giggling and goofing off while we waited for them to acknowledge us and take our order. We had all 4 of our littles in tow. Not a great first impression.
As they were making our snow cones, I noticed that they DO NOT use Blue Bell as advertised. I understand BB is probably more costly to use but donāt advertise it if youāre not going to honor it. Easy enough to just say Vanilla Scoop of Ice Cream.
Also, I wish they would explain that when adding an ice cream scoop, theyāll up the cup and flat top it. When kids are little, they compareā¦ just their nature. They donāt understand why one kidās cone is topped when theirs isnāt. Heck, I didnāt understand it until I read a previous review just now where the owner explained it.
Better, more attentive and upfront service could really help this location. Weāve only ever had them from their mobile stand before, so this was kind of a shock. Also, prepare to be swarmed by bees. Naturally, they are attracted to the sweet smells of the syrups in the cones.

My second time ordering ice cream in my snow-cone. First time there was not even a scoops worth. Second time I ordered 2 scoops of ice cream hoping to get a better amountā¦nope. There was maybe a tablespoon. Then I got charged for 2 scoops of ice cream and couldnāt even find the ice cream at the bottom. The staff there are very inconsistent on making a snow-cones. The woman in front of me ordered a medium and I did as well. Her cup had a cone shape top and mine was flat and barely filled the cup. The owner needs to train their staff.

Today me and my daughter went to get our weekly Snowcones. A lady and her daughter were inline getting snow cone with their dog.I asked the lady before we got out were they done, which it looked like they were because my daughter was scared of her dog. She said yes, so we waited for them to be done and her daughter put the dog up so we decided to get out instead of waiting on them to leave. This dog is not a service dog. So as I walked up the lady said ā you canāt judge my dogā. After that me and her exchanged words for about 5 mins. Instead of the workers telling one of us to leave which should have been them because they were done ordering their Snowcones, they called the owner and she told us to leave. Very sad that we were told to leave when she was done ordering and had gotten her Snowcones. I have been coming to JJās for over 25 years and have never had an issue. This is very unprofessional! They didnāt ask us what happened they immediately told us to leave. They instead got her side first.
