Came and have dinner with my mom , this place is beyond amazing. If google had unlimited starts I would check that off. Food was delicious, fresh and absolutely delicious. I ordered chicken and waffles and this chicken was crunchy on outside and so moist on inside. I found my favorite place to eat when it comes to chicken. Don’t hesitate , try it out. You won’t regret it.

I really wanted to give this restaurant a good review. I wanted to support and brag about how its a lowkey family restaurant with amazing chicken but so far I've been disappointed both times. The first time I tired the chicken it was underwhelming and thought I should give a second try just to sure. So I did. Sadly the second try only confirmed my previous experience. For me the chicken was simply under seasoned and sides did not fair better. The flavors were significantly toned down, the species were hardly tasted. I ordered (both visits) the Cajun (flavor) chicken. If the owners see this I hope they take this as a constructive comment because they are so sweet and kind and I want them to succeed! Plus I'm more then willing to give them another try.

Try her place located on 29th Street in Bryan. Drove in from San Antonio & made it a point to try this amazing place.

I got myself the 3 piece lemon, pepper chicken with mac and cheese and it was all fantastic. The chicken was made on order so the chicken was fresh and warm when I was served. The mac and cheese was nostalgic to some of the mac and cheese I had in my hometown area. As a little bonus, I ended up getting a waffle with my meal and it really compliment the chicken.
The service was excellent and the owner was so sweet and helpful during the ordering process when it was my first time ordering. The storefront was clean and spacious too. Highly recommended coming here and I will be retuning soon to try the other spice flavors for the chicken.
Best Fried chicken and waffles in BCS. Fries are seasoned very well, but not Krispy. Customer service was very welcoming and excellent, and it's a loacal family owned business. So support is needed. Location is not great, but word of mouth will help.
We need to try more of the menu. Got dark with waffles &fries. Also, other half order wings waffles and Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese were MID. But do want to try all the other sides.

I cannot emphasize just how good this restaurant made me feel. From the food to the welcoming environment, everything was a 10/10. Chicken was crispy, juicy, AND flavorful. But what was even better than the delicious food was the hospitality the staff showed us. One trip was definitely not enough to try everything I wanted, so best believe we will be coming back!

Bug personalities and welcoming friendliness from everyone made our first visit at JLM's today going with my dad who uses a wheelchair. They are the most ADA friendly building we have found in our restaurant rounds! Ms. Juanita the owner was absolutely welcoming with a huge personality (as can be seen by her posing with my dad in one of the photos at the table, she has an exuberant personality 😊) and so was her best friend Ms. Rita and everyone else there that we met.

Visited the food truck and had the pleasure of enjoying the lemon pepper garlic chicken tenders and waffle with their famous fried okra! Soooo good! And the service was amazing! Great food; Great People! I will definitely be trying out some of the soul food at the restaurant next time I’m in Bryan. 10/10!
