I'm so disappointed in how fast this place went downhill after reopening. All the servers keep their backs to the customers while in the kitchen and stay on their phones instead of checking in. The cooks are getting lazy and serve cold reheated rice, if they are supposed to keep cilantro off a taco and need to fix it, they don't remake it they just pick some off and send it back out. I always have to flag someone down for a refill or my check. Guess you can't find...
La Carreta is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in b/c. The lunch specials are amazing food for under $9 a meal. Service is great the food is good portions. I could eat there every week and never get tried of the food. If you never eaten here then shame on you.
Came to Santa’s Wonderland for the kiddos and was looking for a good mexican breakfast. Randomly found this place & the food was amazing!! Everything was perfectly cooked. Waitresses were amazing. Drink stay filled and was checked on constantly. Best part aside from the food was the old school Tejano music they played!! Will definitely be back.
