Family Owned with many employees that have been with them for years. Food is good, tasty and always hot. Large portions and friendly atmosphere. Their back room is great for a family gathering. Recently hosting a work Christmas gathering. Can’t leave without a slice of pie. Randy. Kim and staff are the best!!!! Always our family go to place!!!!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since June and have always enjoyed the food, but today was really disappointing. I ordered a chicken fried chicken kids meal, and they gave me chicken fried steak instead. When I brought it up, the manager refused a refund and told me I “shouldn’t be ordering a kids meal as an adult,” even though I’ve ordered it before without any issue and was ordering for my child.
She also insisted I ordered wrong, even though I clearly asked for chicken fried chicken. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. Mistakes happen, but refusing to fix it and blaming the customer is not good service.
I really liked this place, but this experience made me rethink coming back. Hopefully management improves how they handle situations like this.

We were greeted by our server soon after being seated and ordered our beverages. We ordered ribeye which was average in flavor. I ordered a Shiner draft which I found upon checkout to be $12. You decide if this place is good value for your hard earned money. Will never be back.

Went to Longhorn in downtown for lunch today for lunch special. Why bother going here at 12:20 pm if they ran out of the lunch special at the beginning of lunch hour. Will never come back here and I don't recommend anybody else does either.

This place is perfect Texas atmosphere. The service is great. The food selection is fantastic. We had chicken fried steak and were not disappointed. It was delicious. Mac and cheese was excellent and fried okra hit the spot. Lety was our server and was very attentive. Good prices too. We will be back.

Great American food with lots of choices. Best catfish, fried or grilled in town. Best chicken fried steak ever! Try it Grandkids style.
Good place to go to dinner. Not fancy just simple good food. Great hamburger and fries you won’t go home hungry.

As a family of four, one being a 3yo that had a 10$ meal and a water, we spent 200$ on what was probably the worst steaks we've had in a long time, if not ever. The 30$ t-bone that was supposed to be medium rare looked gray and, quite frankly, boiled. All condiments were served in plastic takeout cups and had no flavor. The sirloin my husband and I had were either horrible cheap cuts of meat or cooked by someone that should be working at Dennis. And then once our main plates were served we didn't see our waitress again until we had plenty of time to stare at our leftovers long enough to truly regret our decision. The fact that the restaurant was only half filled on a Saturday night was telling and also frustrating regarding service. Its just another old, outdone steak house holding on to its reputation from decades ago.
