This place is a little off the beaten path and the parking lot is tight, but the food and service are worth it! Very generous portions and awesome lunch specials. I will definitely be back! This is one of the few places that offers baked sweet potatoes and it paired quite nicely with the chicken fried steak and roasted veggies. Grab your friends and head on over. Be sure to have the fried jalapeños as an appetizer too. You can thank me later! ?

I have been coming to longhorn tavern for years. I used to love this place. Back in the day I would come here with friends from highschool and get the best chicken fried steak in town. But the past few times I have been here it's has been sub par. We just recently came to eat here and was very disappointed with the service that we had. Food was not as good as it has been in the past and the waitress was not very informative or very friendly. Completely opposite of what this place once was. I have been seeing this place slowly go down in quality. Just wish it was the place it used to be.

Don't mistake this place for Long Horn Steakhouse brand.Want a good steak? Grill it at home, this place has HIGH prices and old stale sides, plus the steak is not even fire grilled. I can make better AT HOME. This coming from someone who just paid almost $70 bucks for two people, save your money, you will be HAPPY you did. The service was mediocre too, she didn't actually deserve ANY tip.

Several friends and I periodically eat lunch here. We are always greeted with a smile. We like the portion sizes for the prices. We usually go about 1pm, so miss the bigger lunch crowd. Service has been very good, and with a friendly smile.

My husband and I both ordered steaks. Neither one of our steak had any flavor. I ordered Mac and cheese. It was very watery and flavorless. It didn't even taste remotely like Mac and cheese, but more like Mac and pasta water. Salad was good. My first beer (Miller) had to be sent back because it tasted like a sweaty gym shoe. Ugh. The replacement beer was michelob ultra. That was better. The waitress was great. She was attentive and friendly, although I wish she would have cautioned me against the Mac and cheese. I will not be returning to this restaurant and would advise against eating here.
