I have been eating Pepe's since the 70's, so it's a family favorite, however today not so good. I specifically asked for no beans on my chicken wrap fajita, and guess what? Beans... not happy
I’ve dined here since I was a kid. Their regular burritos, regular chalupas, and taco burgers are good comfort food. Their red salsa is legendary. Yes, prices have gone up a little, but that’s inflation. If you like Taco Bell, you’ll love Pepe’s.
I was randomly reminded of this place after having left texas for a few years. Their green sauce is the best. Seems to be a lot of tomatillo and habanero. Their regular chalupa/tostada slathered with a good serving of the sauce is the best tex mex. Very affordable too
