If you appreciate real coffee and are looking for espresso, Polite is the best in BCS by far. They are roasters and really know what they are doing.
It’s also a great place to bring your laptop and get some work done.

I've been there 3 times and two of the 3 times they have messed up my order or purposely not give it out as described in their menu description. Today, the girl didn't give us our food order but gave the girls behind us theirs, we had to ask for ours and it was the wrong item. We had left so we didn't notice it was wrong until we opened the box at home. One of their holiday drinks came with a sweet, and I had to ask for it after seeing another customer get theirs. The first time I was there, I ordered the Lavender drink that has mint, and mine didn't come out with the mint while others who ordered theirs did. The girls that work there don't seem to have basic customer service. You, the customer, have to say something to the employee to be acknowledge bc the girl taking your order is only staring at you instead of saying a simple "can I help you" or "hello". The place is cute and has potential, but their crap service ruins it.

This is the slowest coffee shop I have ever visited. Took 40 minutes to get two lattes. The barista had no clue what she was doing. The coffee (Kyle House) was bland, virtually no coffee flavor. Very heavy on the peppermint syrup in one latte, which was not pleasant. There were many rude students taking up all the tables too, with all most all the tables for four inside taken up by one student sitting alone. There should be a rule that you have to share tables if you are just sitting with your computer so that other customers can sit down.

Surprisingly hip coffee house. It's literally a house with nooks and rooms to sit and work, meet friends, and have coffee. I had a morning meeting on the porch and was quite satisfied with a good cup of Joe and stellar ambiance.
Best tea and poppy seed bread ever ill be back for more and the workers are very friendly and welcoming ♥️👍

Great in-house experience. Coffee is great. Online customer service is a ZERO.
I've used id.me to get a military discount a few times. Last month it didn't work. I contacted customer service, and they assured me it will work on my next order. Fast forward a month l... same issue.
This time my 2 contacts have been ignored.
Pro tip, I'd rather be told to pound sand then be ignored. I'll be looking for alternatives in the area now.
Was contacted via phone and was pleasantly surprised with the accountability and reasoning for the issue I had. That is all I really wanted this whole time.
With that said, I no longer have or feel anything bad to say about Polite Coffee!

This is a beautiful house. Old and with character! The facade is remarkable! The coffee choice on the menu is great! And it is tasty! Now the bad - students occupied all available tables for a long period of time. Please make a space for fast sip customers, just to get some 5-10 min drinks and go. Parking is not always available. This place is popular. Tried affogato - very good. House gutters probably need some cleaning.. trees grow in them.

Coffee was okay, i got the breakfest in bed, and i couldn't taste the fruitty pepples over the acidic coffee taste. The capacinno while pretty was very acidic. I feel they need to go to a lower roasted coffee. Higher caffeine level and lower acid flavor would allow the flavors of other things to pop.
The service was ok but it took forever to get our coffee, the cashier had a long line and had long conversations with guest and didnt ask questions that searted the ordering process she kinda just stared at us till we said something.
The atmosphere was heavily reliant on the fact it had a cute house. The paint was chipping everywhere, the decor that wasn't original in the house was cheesey and clashed hard against the elegant house. Cheap looking lawn furniture. Empty flower beds or dead plants. I just felt a lot more could have been done.
