Love Ronin. The food, service and ambience is the best. We had cheese plates, salads, burgers, the newest chicken, and shrimp. All was tasty, as always!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Drinks were mature and the bartenders were very sweet and kind!

Beautiful spot, love the swing on the patio after dinner to people watch. The food and servers are attentive, and it looks like a full team effort! SO SO sad to hear they are closing. It was great to eat your food.

We loved the atmosphere and menu selections. Favorites were the shrimp pasta and fried veggie appetizer. The food took quite a while to come out and the Caesar salad was super salty

Lunch on my daughter's Ring Day! It was an early lunch and quiet. Food and service amazing.

We’ve have dined here several times over the past few years. Both or our children attend TAMU and we like to take them out for a nicer dinner when we visit. This is actually the place my daughter requested for her 21st birthday. They have craft cocktails and she was excited to try a few. The food has always been fantastic and the atmosphere is great! Looking forward to our next visit!

Drinks took forever to come out, food was one overpriced and two was very mid. Farm to table is cool I guess but for the price you might as well sacrifice your health and just eat at McDonald's. I have no earthly idea how this place is popular. 🤢

Where do I start…made a reservation and was seated immediately which was the best thing of the entire night! We started off with the Farmhouse bread which for $10 you get 3-4 slices of sourdough bread (fine with that). Moving on when asking about the menu the waiter we had didn’t really know much other than it being “farm to table”. I ordered a cocktail which came out in around 10ish minutes. The main course was interesting to say the least. My gulf shrimp were not cleaned properly before cooking leaving a gritty texture upon consumption. For $33 you would think they would at least clean their shrimp…My boyfriend got the pork belly which was fine. Very tender, had a nice smoky taste, but it came with these greens that smelt like wet dog. These same greens were touching my ice cold red beans and rice that was under my uncleaned gritty shrimp. A 45 minute wait for cold, nasty food. To top it all off this was all $119. I expected to pay this much on a date night…but not for low quality “farm to table” food with slow okay-ish service. I will not be returning even though i LOVE restaurants like this! Truly a let down :(

Way over rated tbh. Food was not good at all. Had a smash burger and would’ve rather had whataburger. Fries were cold and had no flavor as well as the onion ring appetizer. Pompano was also not good. The only thing that was okay was the chicken feied steak. But wasn’t anything special at that.

So when you have a Waygu steak or portion of the meat, it should be the softest piece of meat, it was tough, not good at all, you put Chimichurri on anything & it will be good but if it didn’t have it on, it was the driest of steak ever!!! Plz save your money! Not worth it!

I never review online, but want other unsuspecting families from out of town to be more prepared. Trendy, kitchy, great if you want to pay $35 for a sweet potato. Wannted to celebrate daughters graduation. Management pretenious and entitled. Prices are way out of range. Sells itself as a special occasion meal, yet no space to allow any such thing. Beware of decieving photographs.
Fell down their very unsafe stairs.
Such a disaster.

Six of us went to Ronin on the weekend. The food was mixed. The fish option was very good. The chicken fried wagyu beef was not. The breading was about 4 times as thick as the meat. It was crunchy (which was OK) but very close to burnt. The meat (a few millimeters thick) was about 1/4 of the thickness of the batter, and very very well done.
At the same time the whole was relatively tasteless. The "gravy" (cooked flour and water and nothing else it seemed) was also tasteless. The pan fried potato chunks were not crispy and somewhat soggy. In all two of the four who ordered this choice were unable to eat theirs.
The corn cob pieces with miso sauce appetizer was unusual and tasty.
The portions were large both for the fish and the beef.
The service was very good, with the waitress being helpful and attentive (without being overly so). The wine (admittedly one of the most expensive on the menu) was delicious. But on the whole because of the main course beef, the experience was disappointing and definitely below the standard of previous times we have eaten here.

We attended one of their farm dinners and while the ambience was amazing the farm tour fantastic some of the dishes just left us wondering why they serve them. Well, I’m usually a meat eater. I thoroughly enjoyed all the vegetarian dishes. However, the beef belly stew that they served for a main turned out to be three pieces of nothing but fat with great flavor.
