This place does farm to table right. Might be the best burger I’ve ever had. Candied bacon, grilled onions, bread and butter pickle spear. No detail is left unattended to. The craft cocktail menu is the stuff of legends. The staff is friendly, attentive, knowledgeable… in short fitting everything else that is Ronin. Go out of your way to make a stop here and you won’t be disappointed.

Sad. Food was not farm to table. Where out of several things burger was garbage, fires cold they gave a free desert which was terrible.

Bread and the chicken fried steak were decent per reviews. The rest was inedible or not available. I do not recommend. They boast of farm to table but just not put together well.

The service was terrible. We waited an hour for our food. The restaurant staff seemed flustered and disorganized the entire night. We viewed multiple people leaving before getting their food because service was so slow.

The service was amazing and the food absolutely divine! Max was very attentive and had great recommendations, the service was quick and the meal was cooked to perfection. Thank you for another great meal ronin!

Very nice beautiful place. The menu is seasonal and the food was delicious.I can't wait to come back and try something else. I had the chicken fried steak, potatoes and greens. Tender, well seasoned and delicious. The cocktails were also tasty. The server we had was ok. The one serving the table next to us did a fantastic job. We over heard him explaining the menu in great detail for them. Hope we get him next time. For sure give this place a try!

The French toast was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and a soft, fluffy interior. The strawberry syrup added a delightful burst of sweetness that complemented the toast beautifully. Every bite was a heavenly combination of flavors. The presentation was also top-notch, with the dish looking as delicious as it tasted. I would highly recommend trying the French toast with strawberry syrup at this restaurant's brunch. It's a true culinary delight that will leave you craving for more!

I booked this for dual anniversary dinner for my parents and my birthday. On line it looked so pretty. I thought sitting outside under the stars would be so pretty. Well they sit you on the front porch. The street is directly behind you and the traffic noise is very loud and distracting and the train too. They had no open tables inside so we could not move. All four of our dinners were just “alright”. We had the lobster pasta and the salmon dish, and chicken fried steak meal. The food was bland. The salmon dish had a weird taste to it too. We all four shared bites of each others. The best part was the bread (which you pay extra for) and the crème brele' was excellent. Overall not a good experience. The prices were high for what you actually got. We will definitely not be visiting again.

Ronin is the most fabulous restaurant in College Station! You will not find any better food in the area. Every dish is meticulously prepared for the best flavor and quality. Service and atmosphere are impeccable. Can't recommend this place enough!

Lovely space, rustic with a modern feel! Food was outstanding! Delicious! Great selection of beverages! Service was great but felt as though they only worked to mirror my positive energy but felt they could have gone the other way if I wasn't pleasant!

The food was great. The farm bread was amazing. The chicken fried steak and gravy are definitely a must try! Good atmosphere, the tables are a little tight but it was Valentines Day when we dined here, so that is understandable. Our waiter was a little inattentive but again, it was Valentine’s Day, so I guess it’s to be expected. Overall, great experience. We will be back.. super excited to see how the menu changes with the seasons.Be sure and give Ronin a try if you have not. You will not be disappointed.

We were celebrating our daughter's PhD at what we thought was a nice restaurant. The service was terrible - not enough menus, drinks weren't refilled, food was cold - and this place is expensive. Won't go back.

Best thing on both our plates were the potatoes. Nice place but you get sat so close to other people that it's impossible to not hear their conversations. May have just had a bad waiter but we didn't get any drink refills. ATTENTION MANAGEMENT: When you charge that much for a plate, charging an extra $2.50 to pay by credit card is just tacky. If everything had been great about our visit, this would still keep us from recommending and/or returning. At least now we can warn others.

This was my first time since The Republic was out of seating and it was disappointing and expensive. The atmosphere and staff were excellent but the food was interesting. I ordered salmon and it came in a stew. The jerk chicken was also mediocre. I'm sorry but I spent over $115 for 2 entrees and 2 drinks.
