One of the best soft food places in town. The staff is very welcoming lovable they make you feel part of the team and they make you feel right at home eating a Sunday dinner during the week. The service is phenomenal and the amount of food to give you is good.

There is not much to pick from for "soul" food in Bryan/College Station. This reminds me of my mothers cooking while growing up in Caldwell only we had never heard of soul food.

The Mac and cheese was 30 minutes late. As for the pricing, it was high for what you get ($33.00 lunch for two, with beverage, no desert). It was an experience, but that was all.

It has been years since I been at Shannon's, I ordered a dinner plate to go, I ask for cranberry sauce and they gave me cranberry sauce the size of a marble, and I ask the guy that was serving me, do I get two sidings, he raise his voice and said Oh NO!! Like I curse or something, very rude! They say support support black own businesses, but how can you when they give you very little in your plate and they are rude, I said I would never go back again! The food is good, but they are too stingy, but that was some years ago
