Very disappointed. They forgot rolls and butter and the ice cream for the cobbler and we irdered 2 ribeye steak meals the steak was tough I called and told them and they said sorry nothing we can do we can't guarantee the steak I told her we have never had this problem but considering how much we paid to be told oh sorry nothing we can do I will definitely get our steak somewhere else. :(

Out of Towner Perspective: Good food. Definitely comfort food (lots of fried options). Great prices compared to California. Lunch specials about $10.50. Fried catfish was good, mot a lot of seasoning. Beat was loaded mashed potatoes, and the grilled jalapeños are awesome. Nice server. Entrance was wet, not sure why. Music could be louder.

This is our second time being here. Love this place. The fried pork chops and loaded mashed potatoes are excellent.Great comfort food.

Here is a place for a good country meal. I took my brother for lunch for a steak. The steak came with a backed potato and a garden salad. Nice roll and the service was excellent. You have to wait but you will happy that you stay.

I love this place! The food is so good. The employees have been really nice whenever I've gone. They always made sure I was taken care of. And the sweet tea is so yummy! I will keep coming back every chance I am in town.

I called in my order at 4:00 pm for 6:00 pm. And when I came to the restaurant they gave my order to someone else. I had to wait until they remade my order. I waited 15 minutes for my order. I asked for a manager and the staff informed me that they don't have one. I have tried to contact the owner. The food was not seasoned at all.

I felt unwelcome at this place. The server I had rushed me through my order. She did not check once on me to see if I was fine or needed anything. But she asked others around me. I was the only African American female there so this made me feel like that was the reason for the poor service. So I took my food to go. Never again.

HORRIBLE HOSTESS , is not a problem solver and not a team player, also not welcoming. Had a very much horrible attitude and a stank face . I feel like she needs to get fired and doesn’t represent the restaurant well

Horrible hostess. The first person you see when you walk in and it’s the person with the worst attitude. But of course these days workers don’t care it’s not their restaurant. Don’t waste your time.

Great CFS. Sweet tea and fried okra. Steaks coming out of kitchen looked great. Sides are okay but remember that the name is Beefmasters not "Fusion". A little crowded in the wait and checkout are during rush period. Think 1950-1960s upscale downtown cafe in small town.

Amazing food, great prices, can get busy after church but it's a great restaurant for those news to TAMU!

Food decent for what it is....Mostly fried, family-diner quality food. Fries are amazing with their home made ranch but I wouldn't say the grisel-ly steak would not be a first or second choice. We ordered grilled shrimp and they brought fried. Ordered plain mashed potatoes with nothing and they still came with gravy. The atmosphere is older, TVs with no volume and then no captions, outdated, dark, kinda unclean, but if you don't mind that kind of stuff, then, it's ok (think older, dirty chairs, menus, and tables where when you touch any of them they are sticky). Beverages come in a decent size glass and their tea is fresh. Did I mention the ranch, yet? It's great ?. Not sure we would come here again since there are so many other choices for steak in Texas ??‍♀️. They really need a deep clean of everything and a coat of lighter paint, the dark color scheme is not serving them well. Watch a few episodes of Kitchen Nightmares and take a few tips from that.
