The conches were uhmazing! The service was great and Angelica is super nice
Eating at La Union is, I imagine, similar to dining in much of El Salvador. The space is very simple. The tables are cheap. The food is delicious. If traveling through B/CS, stop in for an authentic Salvadoran meal. If you've never had a pupusa, definitely get them. They are very tasty. Expect to hear a lot of Spanish being spoken around you, but it's okay if you don't. This restaurant is a real cultural treat.
La Union is a bare bones establishment, which is fine since the food is dirt cheap. My family went on a Saturday afternoon. There were a few tables so it took some time to get our order, but it was worth the wait. Tamales, both corn and pork, were out. We shared several dishes, such as the pork and cheese pupusa, tacos, and plantains. My father enjoyed his shrimp dish. A nice change in a town of Tex-Mex. The staff were friendly.
