I really want to love this place. The vibe and atmosphere is just right, but the food comes up short. I'm leaving this review on my third visit so I've given ample opportunity in case I came on a bad day.
This place is decorated with numerous awards for best sandwich shop and best bakery (although the selection of actual baked goods is very slim). I guess there just isn't much other competition in the BCS area, because the sandwiches here are not great. The Reuben I've tried had some of the toughest corned beef, and the rye bread was soft and almost wet, not toasted. The bagels were dry, and the cheesesteak sandwich was so dry and under-seasoned with so little cheese I couldn't help but chuckle.
If you've never had a good sandwich before, you might really enjoy this place, but otherwise you're better off getting a cheesesteak from Jersey Mike's (ouch), and I don't know if there's a better Reuben offering in town, but this one isn't it.
I grew up around proper Jewish delis, so I know my review sounds harsh, but there's so much potential here I just wish they really put in more care into their food.
Oh, and this place is listed as a grocery store in Google, but all they have are a few soft drinks, a paltry selection of baked goods, and a few bags of chips. It's just a sandwich shop.
Me ans my wife just walked in for the first time and we were told at exactly 3pm that they were closed and couldn't serve us but there were still people sitting all around in there. We were just trying to get some sandwiches to go. Very poor customer service in my opinion. It's very sad we were very excited to try the place but now will never come back

Really wanted to love this place but I ordered the salmon and lox and most of the salmon I received was grey and very fishy. Just didn’t seem fresh for how much I was paying for the bagel. Hope to go back and try a different one.

highly disappointed. ordered a cheese bagel with egg and cheese, bagel was super dry, gave me like half an egg and a small piece of cheese. (I feel i may also biased since i am born and raised in new york) but had high expectations from the reviews .

I really appreciate having an accessible, walkable grocery store/deli. Please continue to keep Red Bull in stock. 🫶 Occasionally, I like to get fresh cut deli meat for sandwiches/ wraps at home. Other times, I like to drop in for a bagel or a bite to eat. Wait times are sometimes long but understandable for a fresh meal. They've expanded their seating, which makes it easier to grab a table with a friend/ coworker. Thank you for bringing a city feel to a small town.
Parking: Lunch can be difficult to find a spot, but if you're willing to walk a bit of distance, you're fine. Street parking is free.

If I could give this negative stars I would without any hesitation. Firstly, the bagels were absolutely DRY, they were stale and entirely unsatisfying. I left this establishment thinking “this must be what trash must taste like” Place was unsanitary, staff was rude, and none cared about the customers. Avoid at ALL costs.

The location is a bit cramped, but that's my only critique concerning it.
My partner and I visited after she mentioned the place. It was packed when we visited, which was a good sign. I had the Lox-of-Love, which I recommend. I'd never had salmon on a bagel before today, and I thank Zeitman's for opening my eyes to it.
The lady at the counter was accommodating to our newness plus she was a cutie.
I highly recommend this location, just be wary of eating in. Space is a premium at this location.
