Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.
Their grilled chicken is delicious and juicy. The charro beans, rice, and tortillas are all delicious. Their guacamole salsa has nice heat and flavor. The torta is delicious too (I got chicken, but you can choose whatever protein). I've tried almost everything on their menu, and it's all been tasty.
Inintially, I thought it was a little pricy for a "fast food" place. But the food quality and quantity was better. In the end, it is worth the price. The charro beans were kind of bland. Could have used cilantro.
