I’ve never tried Night Hawk frozen meals before but ran across some at the local grocery store. I got the chicken enchilada and I have to say it’s not bad at all. I used to be a good cook but who wants to go through the prep and cleanup for just one person. The enchiladas (with green chili) are very tasty. The refried beans are just that. Straightforward refried beans. The Spanish rice? Tastes like cardboard…. Needs doctoring.
Came across these great Mexican dinners in the frozen food section. The cheese enchiladas are my favorite but they are all great! This type meal is no longer found in most stores so thanks Night Hawk for giving us a tasty, alternative option to most frozen meals.

Since I loved the Mexican dish, I thought I’d try the beef patty with gravy and mashed potatoes. It was delicious. The potatoes are creamy, the beef is tasty and has a good gravy and the corn was good too. I will definitely be trying this again and any others I can find in our frozen food section. We live in a small town and they don’t always carry a wide variety.
