I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the 1/2 lb beef wrap was—it exceeded my expectations! The flavors were fantastic, and the portion was just right. The service was also excellent, making the experience even better. If you're heading to COTA for a 3-day event, I highly recommend making the quick 13-minute drive to Shugabees. It's absolutely worth it!
Not to rain on anyone’s parade, but the brisket was average. Maybe ‘cause I asked for marbled brisket and just got butt ends. I like fat on my brisket. The potato salad wasn’t half bad. On to the banana pudding. I’ve never had runny banana pudding without real bananas. Not sure what it was. A little too sweet for my taste. Great BBQ all around. Fresh homemade tortillas with tender moist Angus beef brisket, tender pork, outstanding chopped beef, an amazing smoked chicken salad. I have never been disappointed with anything on this menu. They have homemade sauces to put on the BBQ if you are a Sauce person.Any other negative reviews are incorrect, don't know real TX BBQ, or were born with silver spoons up their wazoo.
