The giant fish sandwich was off the chain and good price. Went back 3 times already.

They are out of tartar sauce. They claim to give out a 1.5 ounce but it's only half and I wasn't aloud to buy an extra sauce. Fries not salted. Food was fresh but not worth the trip if I can't enjoy my meal.

Update: I don’t go here much anymore. The wait time has gotten even more insane than it was before. The food isn’t the best either. The last 2-3 times I’ve come I’ve been very disappointed and I don’t think I’m going back for a long time if I even do. Sometimes you get so turned off by a place that you just quit going. I feel that way right now.
Old review: The food is always great here. It’s always cooked fresh and my order has never been wrong. That’s a huge deal to me. I’m sure it’s the fact that the person that hands out the food gives it one last inspection to make sure it is correct. When I went the other day I was helped by two different people and they were both extremely polite. The only problem I have is that I’ve seen them making their tea before and they place the tea on the floor to make it. Thats odd to me, things can easily drop into it as people are wiping counters or walking by. Other than that, their food and service is exceptional. I will always recommend this place to others.
I just left the Captain D's in Burleson Tx. And this the 2nd time I've experienced bad service. It's usually pretty good. I went through drive- thru as usual, occasionally I go in and eat. It took me almost thirty minutes to get my food. And they looked at me as if I didn't matter and they didn't comprehend why I was upset. Four people were working and my food was just sitting in the window. I worked there forty years ago it was prejudiced against black people then and still is. You never see any black people working there. I quess that's why they had that discrimination class action suit back in the 90's and lost millions and had to close stores. Forty years later and not much improvement.

The other day we went to Captain D's in Burleson.
I hadn't been to one in years and so was curious how good it would be.
We were a Long John Silvers family growing up so I always have memories of those meals
Well Captain D's has done it well and made me feel like I was at LJS but it was BETTER!
First off Perla at the counter was tremendous!
She definitely knows how to run the restaurant
We tried a little bit of everything
The fish was fried perfectly
The hush puppies were crunchy but moist on the inside
The fries were excellent
The fries pickles were lightly breaded and sour pickles
The butterfly shrimp had the perfect crunch
The mozzarella sticks were flavorful and not over chewy
Overall the oil seemed very new as everything had a light color to it
What I was also very impressed with was how clean the restaurant is for the age
Also how great they maintained it after being there for awhile
I'll definitely be back now that I know it leap frogs the ol LJS!
Gotta go get some crunchies!!!

Good food. Not enough around.
My wife and I ordered the chicken and 2 sides of fish. We asked the girl who took our order that the fish was with the meals and she said yes. We get home and no fish. To drive back to get the fish, our food would be cold. Spoke with the manager and she said come get the fish. We stated we do not want the fish now and asked for a refund for the trouble. She said no refund come get the fish, we said no and she said refund for the fish then. Horrible place! Horrible manager who obviously does not know how to manage and no clue what customer service means. Corporate need to fire her and hire a competent manager. Do not go to this Burleson TX location. You will be treated like crap.

I bought 2 piece fish online order and the fish was chewy and hard the fries were chewy and soggy the only good thing was the hush puppies I threw the rest away after a couple of bites this is the reason why I haven't been back here because of this reason they sell old food that's just a waste of money so caution when you spend your hard earned money here they are stealing your money by selling you old food ***BUYER BEWARE***

We went for dinner tonight and ordered 1 2pc fish basket, 1 2pc CATFISH basket and a Chicken and fish basket. The new employee (you could tell because he needed help and that’s totally fine but he seamed new enough that he shouldn’t have been thrown to the dogs and untrained alone on the register but he was trying) repeated it back and said 2 fish baskets and I said one is cod and another me is catfish he said yes. Went in paid and go our receipt. I saw we in fact were charged only for 2 cod baskets and my husband’s. I told the lady that I assume was in charge because I didn’t see a manager anywhere and she said well it’s 2 dollars more. I then told her we repeated the order back and were told we were charged for the catfish even tho we weren’t. She basically said either get what you paid for or pay the difference. I said what ever we will take what we didn’t order. We finally then got our cups for our drinks and sat down. About half way through eating I saw a lovely long black hair in my food and was just done. This place has really gone down hill and the staff is a joke. We saw the DT timer up to 10 minutes and they weren’t even busy. Definitely won’t be going back any time soon. I will add when I asked for my receipt back she gave me a copy without a option to do a survey shocking enough (same rude lady that told me to pay the 2$ or basically take what I paid for)
They took our order, we paid, then we waited over 30 minutes in a mostly empty place
Adding- It turned out they lost my ticket. After 15 minutes of no food I would ask them a few times where food was and they kept brushing me off saying it would be out soon. Finally at 30 minutes they realized they didn’t even have my ticket. No apology from them, just fumbling and rude attitude. Also, I left all this information at their contact us link the day this happened before they responded saying to do so and I have yet to hear back from them over a week later.

I was not happy with my food! This is why people say they don’t like fish! SAD! Not good and I’m a fish lover. I should have saved my $12 and went to “The Catch” best seafood… it’s in Burleson 🎣 … Just $4 more for a real fresh hot catch of seafood! Sorry Captain D’s …

Nice place to eat, food is good, service is adequate. The cashier was distracted, I had to pay for some drinks separately. The atmosphere was friendly, music was a bit too loud.

Went through the drive thru for my very first time. I ordered all sides. Was blow away once I got to the window and was told my total was $56. I cannot believe this company even has the audacity to charge this much for non flavored food. Not one grain of salt or pepper was on any of the food I ordered. The corn on the cob was very hard as well.
I ordered corn on the cob, Mac and cheese, green beans and Hush puppies, you can clearly see the food doesn’t have a speck of seasoning!
