Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We visited this location in 12/6/2025 at 500pm We were traveling from Ft Worth to Killeen Tx. We stopped for an evening meal. The restaurant was filthy liked it had not been cleaned for the day. The floor at our table and several surrounding tables was covered with food products. The waitress Christine , was slow and had favorites. The 4 people at the table were seated prior to us and had been waiting for a long time. They were finally greeted and their drink order taken and delivered. Then their order was taken . Our drink order and food order was taken after theirs. We received our drinks and refills. We ordered Dr. Pepper, it was flat and replaced with tea. Another table was cleaned by Christine while she waited for our food. Then an additional table was seated with more elderly people. Christine spent a lot of time with them nous and the people that had arrived prior to us. Our food was delivered first by a different server, he had his fingers in the food on the dishes while setting the plates on the table. It was like warm . The table next to us finally received their food. The father asked why the food took so long and why his family was last to be served . No answer was given and the question was never recognized. I believe a manager assisted in the delivery. At just before 600 pm more staff arrived but had no sense of urgency to help each other and catch everyone up or assist. The restaurant was never busy so there is no excuse as to why it took so long to serve and take care of the customers. I did not ask the family anything. They were visibly annoyed. My wife and I had a long day and were hungry. We ate and left . We will not be back to this location. This is very disappointing. We are grandparents .

Love Cracker Barrel old country store products are amazing and food is fantastic southeren food. One of my favorite.

We love Cracker Barrel, especially when traveling! We always feel at home there, no matter the location and the food is always great!

We love Cracker Barrel and try to go a couple of times a month; usually for breakfast or dinner. We have gone twice in the last week to this particular one because of convenience. The waitress was not very attentive and slow even though they were not busy. Food was lukewarm; fried okra was like it had been there for several hours. Cornbread muffins were good and so were the biscuits.

We love Cracker Barrel. Best pancakes around. Service was fantastic!!!
I only put a 4 for the food because they had a rush in the kitchen and some of our breakfast arrived cooler than it usually does.
Only time in many years that happened.

The server who seated our party was not friendly but very rude. A 78 y/o lady asked for a cup of water while waiting to be seated (100) degrees outside... she told her she would have to go and get it herself because if she did it would be a liability. When we were seated the chairs had food in them ee asked for the chairs to be wpied our and the hostess got upset wiped the chairs out with a wet towel and refused to dry them. We had to ask someone else for napkins to wipe the chairs out. Jon the server was all over the place.... took our drink order.... then came back and took our food order we never got anything to drink until our food arrived. To ad insult it was (9) in our party and 7 of us had dirty silverware including myself. This was a very frustrating and horrible experience for all of us. Not to mention one meal came to the table half done. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Roach on the ground when we came in. The hashbrown casserole was undercooked and oniony. Waitress didn't even make sure we were done ordering before bringing the check and ignored us as soon as she brought the check. Had to ask another waitress to get our waitress.

Spent the night up sick from this food. So greasy and salty. Cutlery was dirty. Had to ask for napkins. Overall service was terrible. First and last time I'll go to this restaurant.

Since when did they start selling alcohol?! Not that I cared to order any that early in the morning, but just found that odd. Great food and service is always fast and friendly.
