Hard Eight BBQ offers an authentic Texas barbecue experience that will satisfy any BBQ enthusiast. From the moment you step inside, the sight of stacked oak wood and the aroma from the pit smokers create a welcoming, rustic atmosphere. The smoky air sets the stage as you select your preferred meats directly from the pit, ensuring freshness and flavor in every bite.
The side dishes, such as coleslaw and fried okra, are well-prepared and complement the barbecue perfectly. Dining is casual, with large tables and trays used as plates, making it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. Generous roll of paper towels, barbecue sauce, and complimentary beans add to the comfort and enjoyment. Overall, Hard Eight BBQ delivers genuine, flavorful barbecue in a laid-back setting, making it a great choice for anyone craving hearty, smoke fare in Burleson.

What can I say? I’m from Nebraska and was down for school when a friend suggested I try hard eight BBQ. Customer for life! So great! The jalapeño sausage is 10/10. Everything I tried was excellent. I now also highly recommend it!
Fantastic brisket and pulled pork

My only complaint (and it's a big one) is the stationary stools at the majority of the tables. They are so uncomfortable for my auto-immune compromised and physically challenged companions. There are only two tables (that I have seen) that are equipped with high-back benches and high-back chairs but those are always in high demand and it's difficult when they are already in use and not available. We have had to convert our meals to to-go in the past when we really wanted to sit and enjoy an evening out with friends and family.
Y'all have THE BEST BBQ AND SIDES in the Metroplex but for BBQ in (somewhat) comfort we have to go down the highway to Rudy's. (Their metal chairs are not comfortable but they have backs and are not stationary.)

This place is fantastic and Cindy the bartender is awesome. The beer is super cold and cheap and the food is great.

Stopped by Hard Eight this weekend. By far the best BBQ I’ve had to date. This is coming from someone who has lived in the Southern East coast. Variety of different meats, pretty expensive but absolutely worth every penny. We purchased the brisket, ribeye, jalapeño and cheese sausage and sirloin. All was extremely juicy and not over cooked. Staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely come back!
