First time trying Jamaican food, the beefy patty is addictive for sure. The curry chicken was a new experience and I enjoyed it. Get ready to take my money Jamaican Summers Eatery I will be back for sure.

The food was great. I was a little upset that they were out of Goat. The manager/owner talked me into ordering Hattamon, and it was good as well. I'm sure the Atmosphere is better in the summertime; however, we visited in December and it was raining. Overall, I give it 8 out of 10. The attached menu is correct with updated prices.

Great little spot! I have been in the DFW area for 7 years and have tried many Jamaican spots and this is by far the best and most authentic Jamaican food. Taste as good as home. I wish they were closer to where I live, but whenever I am in the area I will definitely be back.

Jamaican Summers is truly a gem of Johnson County. The food is fantastic, served hot and fresh, and you can tell a lot of love went into the food. From the food to the house-made juices, everything tastes fresh. On top of all that, the atmosphere is great and the service was very friendly. Definitely recommend trying this place at least once.

I ordered the large jerk chicken with rice and cabbage. The chicken was well-seasoned but leaned on the salty side and lacked the smoky flavor that typically distinguishes authentic Jamaican jerk chicken. The rice was chewy and slightly hard, which was disappointing. While the food was edible, it didn’t quite capture the natural Jamaican spices I was hoping for. That said, I’m willing to give it another try and explore other menu options. Hoping for a better experience next time!

This was our first time in. We will definitely be back!! The food was awesome. I had the Rasta pasta with Jerk Chicken, my husband had Jerk chicken with rice and cabbage. He finished his, but there was so much on my plate, I brought the rest of it home. I was a little surprised that no music was playing inside. But that's ok, we will go back ♥️

My husband and I have been living near here for close to 4 years and we never stopped in but MAN THEY ARE ?!! We tried the oxtail, curry goat, jerk chicken, just to name a few!! The food was amazing as well as service!! We will be GOING BACK FOR SURE!! Bless up!

I can't belive I've missed out for sooo long....literally 2 minutes from me and Absolutely Delicious! I can't even explain how good it is...Oxtail is Excellent..so succulent and flavorful and the Jerk Chicken is seasoned beautiful and juicy... and the Mac and cheese is more cooked than I normally like..but tastes sooo good! I will be back!
