I have been on a quest to find the best fried rice and this place comes real close. I have lived in Burleson for 40+ years & just found this place because it is inside a gas station. It is mostly take out but they do have some counter space and 4 tables down by grocery. I would highly recommend the Chrs fried rice Kansas style & regular are Great.

Ordered, waited for an hour for our food. We paid $42 for 2 Lo-meins and an order of Orange Chicken...The guy gave it to us in a paper sack with grease soaking through it, and the food was a solid 3/10. Greasiest lo-mein I've ever had. I feel undoubtedly robbed of my time and money. DO NOT GO HERE‼️

This is a honest review, I been waiting to try this place for a while because all of the positive reviews but it's not good it's alright to greasy the meat and shrimp is very small and not much it's basically all rice it's so greasy that the paper bag it was in was soaked from the grease leaking out from the container it was in the flavor is ok and lacking the texture of the rice was kind of mushy overall would I buy it again that's a definite NO and for almost $16 it was a waste of money i wouldn't pay $5 for it so I don't know where all these positive reviews saying its the best they had is crazy

The ONLY reason I rated 2 stars was because I ordered extra spicy on an item and it had some heat to it. It was flavorless heat, but heat nonetheless. In reality, this is a ZERO star establishment. Some of the best food I've ever had was in a gas station (R.I.P. Chef Point). This was the complete opposite and day old gas station taquitos would have been better prepared and satisfying. This was very expensive for Chinese food, too. $13.00 for a diner plate without any flavor is insane. I don't know how this place is still open. Close it and put in a chicken place (or do better).
For specifics... Chicken (Gen T'So, orange, and seasame) was all over cooked, dry, and lacked any flavor. There were no veggies in any of the chicken dishes (no onions, bamboo shoots, broccoli, etc.). Crab rangoon was over fried and lacked any flavor. I mean it's imitation crab so I dont expect much but my Lord this was bland. The white rice was either undercooked or it waslike they let the steamer go dry, as it was terrible and chewy. Pork fried rice was so dry and burnt that I could not take more than 1 bite of it... that is rare for me.
Do NOT bother with this place. For the record they weren't busy, so no excuse there.

The first time I’ve ever ordered her it was amazing but today 11/16/25 the food tasted nasty, the lo mein was salty, orange chicken was dry, the Kung pow chicken no chicken in it. I will not be coming back to this place again.

There is good Asian food in Burleson! I am flabbergasted that I haven’t tried this place before. All the other Asian food places in Burleson take a far backseat to Rice House. It’s not even close anymore. Some of their dishes don’t look or taste like what you would normally get when you order that dish, but they pull it off. The Chris Fried Rice should just be the standard for all recipes of fried rice. The regular fried rice is great too, but the Chris version is a step up. The guy I talked to on the phone was friendly as all get out, and helped me with some questions and made good suggestions. You can’t really say anything good about the atmosphere, because it is in a gas station, but at least the gas station is a nice one! The prices are right where they should be considering the economy and the quality of the recipes. The portions were above average, and they reheated great too. Only things I would improve are them getting a real restaurant location, and them putting up a website for an online menu. There are pictures on google, but some times those are not up to date. However, outside of those nitpicks, this place is great. I will be ordering from them only until further notice.
I would like to take this time to also say that Taste of Asia and Asian Cafe are disgusting, overpriced, and should be ashamed of themselves. The opposite of Rice House.

I was told this place was good. I stopped by and it was a big disappointment. This food quality and quantity is trash. The chicken tasted old and soggy, the vegetable lo-mein barely had any veggies except 2 small pieces of broccoli. The fried rice didn’t have any flavor and it had no veggies at all. The crab ragoons were old tasting and hard. I will never eat here again. Asian cafe on alsbury blvd is wayyyy better. It is way over priced for the quality and Quantity too Also, my favorite place and only place that has the BEST Asian food is ASIAN BOWL on I20 and Little Road in Arlington Tx. It has double the portions and the quality is out of this world. I know good food. If people say this place is good they haven’t had ASIAN BOWL or anything better. This place is a joke and a waste of money. TRY ASIAN BOWL YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE AND NEVER WANT ANY OTHER AISAN/CHiNESE FOOD I PROMISE. I gave this place a chance cause they gas it up and I shouldn’t have.
