The one thing that irritated me the most was getting my food back to my truck and thinking they would at least put a fork in the bag right…. No absolutely…. To start it off the flavor of the brisket was good but dry as I make it over to the ribs I was hoping for a little texture change…. Those were also dry the one shown in the picture was not tender and they had an ok flavor…. Mac and cheese… I just got Mac there’s no cheese on that….. I got the Jalapeño cheese fries those ok the green beans are ok needs bacon and onion not just powder I was going to give a 3 but this isn’t worth the almost 50 dollars I paid for it and can’t even get a fork…..

Roscoe let me tell you something. I've been eating here for years always satisfied with your food. But after today I'll be going elsewhere, the ribs i ordered i should have ordered beef jerkey. I don't know what changed but you can get better ribs at the corner gas station...

I purchased the smokehouse burger. This was my second trip, to make sure it was consistent and it was! Let me say, this is a flavor profile that keeps you coming back for more! Sweet sauce, fresh ingenious, smoked patty cooked to perfection. And that bacon, nice crisp and smoke flavor. So add it! Fries are delicious with a slightly sweet seasoning. I thought the price was great for the quality. Also the booths are fairly spacious. There is also a bar area as well if you prefer that and want to watch a game. Friendly staff!

Very disappointed last night. The women’s bathroom was horrible, women products with blood on floor, paper products all of the restaurant and inside bathroom, toilet water spinning out of control with water spraying everywhere, no toilet paper and had to bring my paper towel roll from my table to the bathroom to also dry my hands. Brought this to 3 staff members about this issue and nothing was addressed. Food was dry and super small portions. Will not be back, used to be a great place but has gone downhill.

Good staff just a bit too crowded on a Friday afternoon.
Being long time residents, we've eaten here many times with friends, family and just the two of us. It always disappoints me when a local restaurant starts declining, and I'm sad to say that the quality here is really lacking. Over the years the food, service and prices have steadily deteriorated. Once a very nice restaurant with tasty choices, large portions at a fair price...now its dirty, scaled down portions with pricing that's getting ridiculous. And worst of all the food was just bad...really bad. There are too many other choices in Burleson when it comes to similar items on their menu. I'm sad to say we won't be going back unless there's some major changes.

I was very unimpressed and it was very overpriced. This was our first time and our last time. The food was not nasty, but it wasn't exciting either. It was a $22 plate, with very small portions and the chicken was dry. The meat was okay, soft but not very flavorful. The sides tasted like they were from cans and very bland and the desert also, we ended up leaving most of it. We paid $5 for banana pudding and all there was was a couple slices of banana and a bowl full of whipped cream. The sweat tea was probably the best ($3 per drink) and they ran out of ice midway our dining experience. The servers were laughing and talking to each other, not really mindful of the customers, the place was pretty empty (that should have been our first sign but we were already there and wanted to try something new) and the furniture and atmosphere was kind of depressing. I honestly have no reason to want to go back, definitely overpriced for the quality.

Absolutely terrible food. The parking is just as bad. Service needs work. Apparently if you drink they are perfect but don't go for the food.

We came upon this smokehouse by chance. Since we’d been craving some good BBQ, we were excited and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The customer service was good. We were greeted immediately as we came in and the staff was pleasant. The food, not so much. Portion sizes were good. My husband thought the ribs were decent. They had good flavor and were tender. However, we both thought the Texas toast was the best thing on the plates. I had the chopped brisket, potato salad, and green beans. Husband had the same, but with ribs. The potato salad had too much celery, which was all that I tasted. The green beans and BBQ had an off-putting flavor that I can’t really describe. I think the sauce ruined the chopped brisket. I didn’t get to taste is before I put the sauce on it. Needless to say, we won’t be going back.

Roscoe’s BBQ has some great things going for it — the BBQ and smoked burgers are solid, the condiments are always fresh, and the restaurant is typically clean, which we appreciate.
That said, the experience could definitely be improved. The staff is generally not friendly, and orders often come out wrong, especially when it comes to the burgers. Side items like fries and onion rings consistently take a long time to come out — sometimes not until after you've finished your sandwich.
Parking is also a challenge, particularly for anyone who is handicapped or needs easier access.
We’ll continue to support Roscoe’s because they’re a local business, but I sincerely hope the owners see this and take steps to improve the customer service and overall experience.
