Ordered online pick up and gave the staff 15 minutes as the website asked to prepare the meal. I went through the drive thru and was instructed to park in front as it wasn't ready. I could see the smoothie on my order was ready as I could see it with my name by the register but wasn't given it. Waited another 20 minutes before I went in the store to find the food was already completed but staff couldn't be bothered to get it to me. I wouldn't go to this place for lunch as the staff seems to be unable to complete anything in under a half hour. The employ at the drive thru had an attitude and another had his pants half way down his backside. This was the second chance I was giving this place and it doesn't seem like there will be another.

Whoever works the drive thru on the headset needs another job, she’s so rude and all she says is “anything else” “anything else” and huffs and puffs when people pull into the drive thru, from a business person fire her

AMAZING!!!!! service, I walked in and got to the counter and immediately had my order taken and before I could sit down it was back out to me. The Buffalo Chicken wrap I ordered came out perfectly and was amazing. The customer service Kayden displayed was superb, he very politely took my order and made sure I was served in due time, overall splendid experience and I think Kayden is an amazing employee here.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Decatur, Alabama. We placed an order through the app on August 10th they did not have ingredients to make half the order. When we arrived to pick up the order, they explained they have not started the order because they were missing items. My husband told them to cancel the order. They gave us a receipt showing they voided everything off the order. The next day, the money came out of our bank account. I have been in the store SEVERAL times to get them to fix this issue with no resolution in sight. If you go, DO NOT USE THE APP TO ORDER.
Gross food and isn’t that clean. Poor staff is overworked and underpaid
THIS Tropical Smoothie location is the BEST! I eat at multiple locations around the metroplex when I’m working, but the staff here are top notch. They’re always so kind and helpful. They’re great at multi- tasking and getting orders out fast in the drive-thru, walk-up or door dash. I like to add chicken to my breakfast wrap and they’re always accommodating. They are a hard working crew! And Jirah has the sweetest smile:) I love the food, but come back to support the great employees!🤩

I’ve never been treated so ugly right off the jump. I walked in and went to place my order. A guy comes up to take my order. Immediately it’s clear he’s in a very, and I do mean VERY BAD MOOD. He has a horrible attitude while taking my order. I say the first item and then he goes “ugh, what else?” I start to feel rushed and uneasy. I start feeling like I did something to this guy. Why is he so irritated with me? A lady comes from the back, he (while ‘helping’ me) asks her when she’ll be back-she says she’s back. I ask him “you okay? Am I irritating you?” He says “yeah I’m okay, it’s not you, it’s not you, its just working here…”. Regardless of whatever was eating him up, it was very rude and unprofessional of him to treat me this way. He never apologized for the way he treated me by the way. I already don’t like this location because they never make the buffalo chicken wrap right (but it’s the closest location to me), it is always made so messy, hardly any lettuce and they can never make a clean cut in the middle. I hope changes come soon to the staff to professional and kind individuals that actually want to be there.

I ordered a delivery order and not only did they forget one of my smoothies, but they put the order on the porch in the heat and didn’t knock or ring the bell to notify me that the order arrived. Then when I called the store, the person I spoke with would only give me a store credit in which I had to come in to use. I tried to explain that I was working and could not come in and that the smoothie was my daughter’s breakfast and he hung up on me!! I’m very upset as we frequent this location often.

Short version first and detailed for those who want exact experience.
Order: Bahama Mama, Peanut butter cup (both smoothies) Chicken Bacon Ranch , baked lays.
Bahama - bitter taste, obvious. Multiple sip test. Obvious sign of bad fruit.
Peanut butter - very watered down with ice, hint of peanut butter. Multiple sip test.
Chicken Bacon Ranch - Mediocre.
Manager - gave refund for smoothies (which is only items I requested that for, only reason this isn't a 1 star review.)
Been to multiple Tropical Smoothie locations but this one is far below standards.
Long Version.
Walked in with my wife. Weren't greeted. Team member was cleaning. Understandable. So I go wait by the register with my wife for about 3 mins waiting for her to come over. Door dasher walks in and she greets him immediately goes to the section and gets his order together and gives it to him. Well, that's messed up but ok. Then I notice she is chewing gum. I think that's not allowed but I don't know the regulations and FDA so not my place to say something.
Order the items listed above. Wife gets the Bahama mama I get the Peanut butter. She tastes it and says it's bitter. As I'm sipping on mine and wondering why I can barely taste anything but ice. So we swap. Wanting to confirm that it isn't just a mishap or something. We do this 2 times. Coming to the same conclusion. As I've said, I've been to multiple locations. Never had the issue. I could have bought a bag of ice, filled the cup up and added one spoon of peanut butter and had the same flavor and saved 3 dollars.
I bring this up with the manager. She is friendly and nice. Understands what I'm saying and tell her that I don't want the smoothies because I'm not trying to get free products. She issues me a full refund on the smoothies. In the span of this time of tasting the smoothies, talking and getting the refund my Chicken Bacon Ranch comes. I'm hungry so I accept whatever L I get from the rest because people are behind me and I got a refund for the smoothies. Overall, I'm not coming back, I'll drive 20 mins out to Fort Worth location where I know quality is better and customer interactions below manager level is good. The manager at Burleson location I do respect and think she is good but I shouldn't have had to talk to the manager in the first place.
i dont know why this place has so many bad reviews. every single time i have ordered or gone here the food and smoothies have been AMAZING. i have never gotten anything bad from here. my only complaint is the last time i went there i was waiting in line for a long time to order and the workers completely ignored my friend and i so we decided to order online instead and the second we got out of line they immediately took the person that was waiting behind us. i was pretty mad because we waited SO LONG and no one acknowledged us. other than that i love this place and i think about it every day. i wish it was closer to my house! and the prices are perfect!
