Worst food ever. First plate of chicken was burnt, completely black, was trying to be hidden with cheese on top. All food was microwaved out of a bag. We could see it being made, no gloves, no hair nets. This use to be a great place to go. We use to enjoy the food and atmosphere. Neither are now desirable. So disappointed.

I used to go here quite often when it was owned by another man and the food and atmosphere was really good. My wife and I haven’t been since it sold so tonight we decided was the night. As we walked in we noticed only one couple was there. We sat ourselves and my wife ordered chicken parm and I ordered the chicken fried steak. As we waited I was looking around and noticed that the kitchen was open for our viewing pleasure. Upon looking I saw that two microwaves were being used to cook food. My first thought is no way! Well then came our food and my wife’s chicken was completely black and burnt and was hiding under the cheese as if to say outa sight outa mind. I asked the server if it was supposed to be that way and she asked the cook and he said it was the Paiko crumbs used to bread the chicken. He said it just looks darker. I’ve had lots of chicken parm and I’ve never seen black on one. The spaghetti with her meal was rubbery and dry from the microwave and my chicken fried steak had no flavor and the gravy was like eating saw dust.the person who bought this place should really just give it back, sell it, or just go to chef school. I’ll spend my money at the local grocery store if I want a microwave meal.

So happy we decided to stop here a few months back, we live in town & every time we come here we are impressed and filled to the brim. Every dish we've tried has been delicious!!

Had lunch here and food was served hot and quick by a friendly staff who checked on us frequently.

This restaurant has changed hands. Used to be good food. Stopped in to try the Italian menu. Spaghetti and meatballs- over cooked pasta, cheap meat, maybe processed meatballs, almost no sauce, tasted like canned. Baked tortellini- solid cheese, no sauce. Eggplant parm was ok. Salads were fresh. Ordered a Ruben sandwich to go, meat was tough, barely edible. We observed a LOT of left over food on each table. 2300 is NOT the place it used to be.

Food was terrible. If I wanted my burger to taste like a hot dog i would have just stayed in and are a hot dog. Also the fries were cold and i had to put my own condiments on before I was even able to take a bite. Not to mention davids side was only enough for a baby.

The service was very friendly and helpful. Eggplant parmesan was terrific, as was the marinara sauce! Chicken Marsala, meh. Spaghetti and meatballs, meh. I have to say that it is, literally, the only restaurant the I have EVER been in that displayed a Trump flag. Yuck. Want to say I would go back, or refer, but probably not. It's the flag.

Food was decent at best. Mussels were extremely tough. They do have a half completed playscape which the kids enjoyed. At the end of our meal the waitress laid one ticket on our table with zero explanation. My husband took our ticket to the front and paid our bill and we walked outside. A few minutes later the waitress came running outside claiming we weren’t charged enough and questioning what we did with the second ticket because she couldn’t find it. We only ever received one ticket and her approach was very aggressive. We will not be back. We are happy to pay for what we purchased but it is NOT our fault we were not given the correct total - our waitress never even told us to check out at the front….she just never came back.

Unfortunate. I had heard a number of good recommendations. However, I asked for fried chicken "dark meat" and got two chicken breasts that were way over cooked (the skin was virtually burned & the meat itself was browned) and dry. The green beans were good but the sweat potato fries were room temperature. The live entertainment was excellent and the atmosphere generally very nice except for the numerous flies around the window sills.

Great Texas home cooking with very attendant staff and a very Texas atmosphere. I disagreed with only one of the five flags, but the good food and service made up for it that one miss. If they would only change that one flag I would stop cooking at home and eat here every day. By the way Randy is so awesome that his one song I disagreed with just passed right by.

Was hungry so I went to trusty old Trip Advisor for recommendations. Saw some reviews about good food and good service and good music and offensive flags. It was close so I went. Well, walking in I was immediately triggered by the Burnet Bulldogs flag they had hanging. I support the Johnson Jags so I found it highly offensive they supported a different school than mine. Don’t they know only I have the ability to dictate beliefs and everyone must be the same as me, even in their own business?! I controlled the rage and had a delicious meal and enjoyed beautiful live music while seeing everyone’s friendly smiles. Five circles.
